Hotel a North Springfield

“It is ancient but very well maintained. All the furniture and fixtures looks like it is from the 1950s or 1970s - the building looks to be built of concrete or blocks with a brick exterior. Only about 20 rooms. Room is large and has a tiled bathroom with a toilet that looks like it would swallow the Titanic. Everytthing works and the bed is the best one of the three recent - firm, etc. It does have Wi-Fi and cable TV, the usual microwave and mini-Fridge. Even the parking spaces are set up for...

“This property was wonderful and clean. We had two teenage boys who love fishing and we were able to leave them go on their own fishing on the free kayaks offered. The cabins are very quaint and clean. We were able to spend time on the deck and enjoy the quiet time of the outdoors. Restaurant on premises is very very nice and the people helpful and friendly. Will be staying there again soon. Thank you Carmen”

“Very quiet in a great location that is close to shopping, restaurants and only 20 minutes to the State park beaches . Nice to have coffee machine in lobby all day . We Read that Breakfast was really good but it was just okay with scrambled eggs and sausages as the only protein . Also the gym was not really a gym - a few free weights and cardio machines . Even a bench or two would be nice . Still we paid a pretty good price and 30% less than nearby Holiday Inn.”

“Needs a deep clean underneath the surface like the walls could be wiped down but wasnt too dirty though. Chris the maintenance guy tried hitting on my wife which he needs fired from the place. The room was nice beds and comfy. The shower was nice and hot water instantly and clean towels. It was quiet at nights and the pool was amazing, they should put some pool toys for guest though just a thought. The parking was great, you can park right in front of your room. “Some staff weren’t very friendly. No one was ever at the front desk. Rooms weren’t the cleanest and looked like a lot of water damage. Lots of peeling walls, under sinks were rotting out. Ice maker didn’t work. Lots of people who weren’t guests were there using the pool and not watching kids.”
