“Affordable and clean”

“the room was clean and the staff was friendly.”

“This was an older hotel, that was poorly taken cate of. Our door saw outside light. It was old and not a place I would stay again. The clerk was very plesant. It was near some restaurants, but nothing really great.”

“VERY, very basic. I thought the bed was gonna break. There was an outlet right over the headboard that was being pulled so tight that the item plugged into it was pulling it sideways and out of the wall. Looked dangerous. The floor slanted and felt hollow underneath. The towels did not smell clean.”

“The elevator was broken but staff said it wasn’t so I got stuck in it. The hallways were nasty with horribly stained carpets. We reserved an ADA room but were given a regular room so we had to go back to desk and switch. Then room was by an outside door was frequently used and it was very noisy at night!”

“Accueil désagréable, entrée, réception et chambre très mal propre. Odeur épouvantable corridor et chambre. Draps et couvertures mal propres. Rideaux de douche et fenêtres défait. Toiles d’araignées dans la chambre, miroir bariolé. Pas de verre ( même plastique) pour se brosser les dents. Brûlures de cigarettes dans les draps. Expérience horrible.”

“My husband and I stayed over the July 4th weekend. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good. Some of the items were lukewarm and the yogurts were frozen. Room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Only recommendation would be for better pillows. The pillows were very small and flattened easily. Overall, very nice stay and would go back again/ recommend to family and friends.”

“The property is located on a unique piece of land. The "backyard" area opens up to the lake and it is very peaceful to sit there and watch the sunset. So, A+ there. In July of 2026 they are doing construction on the restaurant. I'm glad to see this place get some needed TLC in the form of capital investment. The downside is there is no breakfast or anything like that. There is a coffee shop within walking distance that has breakfast items. In the morning, there is a line out the door. ...

“The good : well located with easy highway access to Route 81, Watertown, Sackets Harbor, and the Thousand Islands region within 10 to 25 minutes. Reasonably comfortable rooms. Good desk staff (when they are there). The bad: continental breakfast was poor. No breads of any kind. No fruits. Bitter Coffee. The desk staff often not there. Sought towels at 10pm. Rang the service phone at desk. No one came after over 5 minutes. I finally roamed till I found a guy. Internet wifi was...

“Had been a basic but satisfactory and economical option up until this last visit. The only positive thing I can say at this point is that there is ample, convenient parking.”

“For starters the staff was very pleasant, room was clean, bedding was excellent, no issues with parking. Having a breakfast at the hotel is perfect and the choices were great for the days we stayed.”
