“A wonderful spot. We were welcomed with open arms. The family run hotel has such a wonderful vibe. Felt at home immediately. We opted to have an evening meal as well. The food was very well cooked, well presented and delicious. ”

“There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. ”

“The Angel was a spur of tge moment stay, while visiting a customer. This is a natural trust area, lots of history in Lacock. The propery is as close to original as possible, very old world. Rooms are sympathetically updated, to include en-suite bathroom. Accessed via cobble streets, the smell of coal fires, sound of horses and laughter. Nostalgic to say the least.
