“Lovely functioning mildly old school cabin in the middle of the country side. Very comfortable bed. We found everything we needed. Our dogs were content. Very quiet. Lots of helpful comms with Antonia. We’d stay again. Previous reviews somewhat amusing….”questionable road quality”…..have these people ever left the city? We enjoyed The Shed.”

“A short walk out one of the main roads leading into Oxford, this cozy row house is quiet, well-equipped and nicely renovated. The kitchen added as an extension to the back is full of natural light and a pleasure to wake up to for breakfast. The fields at the end of the street and accessible one block have pathways that will lead you to the Thames, whose banks we strolled along each evening.There is a Waitrose on the Main Street (Botley) just two short blocks from the house. We are newish to Vrbo...

“We had a lovely weekend here. The communication was great and informative. The property is of a very high standard in terms of interior decor and quality appliances etc. We enjoyed using the facilities of Lower Mill Estate and cooking meals in the home. The outdoor space was lovely too as well as plenty of bathrooms. ”

“Grandby Cottage was charming, the main house magnificant and the grounds were beautiful. The wisteria was in full bloom. I felt like I was taken back in time, expecting a carriage to pull up at any moment.Amanda is a great host and answered all our questions. Our itinerary the day after we arrived was:Day 1 -- Bath. We did the free walking tour (fantastic) and toured the Roman baths.Day 2 -- Stonehenge (We walked instead of taking the bus, which was so much better.) Avebury (one pub in town)...

“We loved this home! It has so much charm. It is old, yet was updated in a way that doesn’t change the vibe. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed the goodie bag! I wish we could have stayed longer. ”

“We had the greatest stay in this beautiful and cozy flat. It is very well equipped and there was good space for everyone. The terrace and garden by the water is amazing where we had the morning coffee, enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and watched the ducks swim by. Would defenitely come again.”
