“Fabulous hotel. Clean fresh beautifully decorated rooms. Relaxing ambiance. Huge bathrooms fluffy towels and great shower. Bed so comfortable. Lovely welcome gift of home made cakes and sweets. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious, staff all wonderful. Highly recommend, we will return! ”

“What a wonderful place to eat and stay! 5 star service from the staff, 5 star food quality and the rooms were immaculate. Breakfast was beautiful every morning with so much choice. This was a break after finishing cancer treatment for me, I wanted a relaxing break and one of the party was gluten free. We were treated like family, one of the party even stayed an extra night! We had a wonderful stay and we will be returning as soon as we can. Thank you, we loved our stay with you. ”

La stanza era molto piccola ed essenziale, il bagno senza finestra, il letto matrimoniale piccolo (alla francese) troppo morbido e le federe avevano un penetrante odore di uovo, piuttosto fastidioso. tutto considerato trovo che il prezzo pagato fosse un po' alto per il comfort che può offrire la struttura.”

“Really nice old school pub/Inn right next to the railway station with a long long history, not a poncey gastro pub, a proper old school pub.
Really nice staff and really good prices, food was great, locals that I met were all very nice, room was cracking.
Quite a few trains go past as you would imagine, but I didn’t find them an issue and slept fine with the window open, they get fewer and fewer the later it gets.
I will definitely be booking this one again.
