“Big parking area. Receptionists kind and available. The executive room is big, but has two huge columns within it, at night when I got up to go to the toilet, I ended up hugging one of them :) I had some allergic reaction to the bed linens, not sure for what exactly, but it would make my skin itching while in touch to it. Walls are really thin, I could hear the noise of my neighbour room's toilet.”

“Absolutely loved this place. Beds were very comfortable and facilities were great. Dinner and breakfast was fabulous. We used it as our base for an early morning walk to Stonehenge.”

“The rooms are perfectly imperfect in my opinion, lovely place to stay, rooms are more homely than a like for like hotel. Bear in mind the surroundings that contribute to the impossible task of keeping these rooms 100% spotless.

“Great short stay. Our room oozed character and history, enhanced by top quality fittings. Bed was enormous and super comfy. Breakfast was absolutely spot on. Complimentary bottles(!) of gin and whisky and the posh shower toiletries topped it all off.”

“Lovely country pub with bedrooms in an annex around a pretty courtyard. Very comfortable bed, everything was spotless in the room. Ideal location for visiting Highclere Castle. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was very good.”
