“WHAT A FIND!!!! A real gem After being let down with our original booking, we found the Black Lion Hotel. It's set in a small, quiet village near the river. We had a superb evening meal, the pub was busy in both the bar and restaurant area all evening, which is always a good sign.... the food was superb, service was excellent The room we stayed in was quiet, clean, the bathroom was a good size, the bed was comfy. “The whole experience at the Llandudno Bay Hotel was excellent. The doggy friendliness was something we had not experienced before when we have stayed at other hotels, even down to a freshly cooked sausage for the dog. The outside area for an early evening drink was good along with the lounge facilities. Everything we wanted in the room which was very well decorated and comfortable. Will definitely return.”

“This is a lovely hotel that has been converted from opd miner's cottages into modern rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean although a little on the small side if you have a lot of luggage. It is conveniently located just a short walk from the town and the bus stop outside is handy for the sherpa bus. Unfortunately the lake view is now almost obscured by trees across the road. Amy was very welcoming and helpful throughout the stay and is always available. I would definitely recommend this...
