“I thought I was in heaven!!!”

“This motel did not live up to its ratings. The check-in person was brusque, bordering on rude. The breakfast area was small, amenities somewhat lacking. While the room was clean, it was not up to expectations. We could hear the voices in the room next door. It was also somewhat weird to have motion-activated overhead lighting.”

“We had reserved two rooms for the Fourth of July weekend. We arrived late on Thursday night as we indicated we would be. Upon arriving, we were immediately shocked by the state of the lobby. Dark, not inviting, clearly old and rundown. We checked in and were even more shocked when we entered our rooms. “The staff was very nice and helpful but the pool had ants in it and there wasnt many options for breakfast. The shower was very slippery, it needs a grab bar inside of the shower not just outside of it, and the room handles were hard to open”
