Hotel a West Wycombe

“Als je na een lange reis in de bloedhitte eindelijk aankomt bij een hotel, verwacht je op zijn minst dat je vriendelijk en met aandacht wordt ontvangen. Niet dat er ondertussen druk op de telefoon berichtjes worden getypt. Ik bedoel... wat is nu 5 minuutjes even met onverdeelde aandacht je gasten ontvangen? De kamer was bloedheet, maar daar kan niemand iets aandoen. Het tapijt is goor evenals het hoofdeind van het bed. Badkamer was prima en netjes en ruim, niets op aan te merken.”

“To call this a Hotel is very misleading. It is at the very least bed accommodation and that's all. There are no kitchen facilities, no tea/coffee amenities. We stayed 2 nights, room was not serviced, the TV remote didn't work (asked for new batteries, still didn't work) the shower had no curtain so everything in the bathroom got soaked. Luckily we removed the toilet paper. The shower/bathroom door leaked so the floor in the room around the door got soaked. I'd not recommend this place to anyone....

“Room was looking tired and wasn’t the cleanest. Lots of small detailed cleaning is required, extra attention to the woodwork & fittings. Thai restaurant wasn’t very good, over cooked chicken starter, old dressing. Main of Pad Thai was very over cooked, meaning the noodles difficult to eat. Bar staff & reception staff were very good and helpful.”

“Bellissimo parco ed entrata importante, belle passeggiate tutto intorno. Purtroppo la nostra esperienza nel hotel e stata oscurata dalla sparizione di 3 articoli personali rubati dalla nostra stanza e della quale sparizione la direzione non ha voluto assumersi alcuna responsabilità. Uno degli articoli spariti dalla stanza erano un paio di Hermes sandali da donna nuovi dal valore di 580 euro. Mai più. Peccato davvero. ”

“Hotel di alto livello e molto comodo per gestire partenze di primissima mattina. Purtroppo condizionatore assai rumoroso , impossibile da spegnere anche seguendo le indicazioni della reception, alla fine ho dovuto staccare la chiave dalla fessura che abilita l'accensione delle luci per riuscire a dormire. ”
