“Quiet clean room on Lake Michigan ”

“AVOID. The desk closes early evening. I was held up in roadwork backups and arrived to find the office dark and the phone routed to an answering machine until 7 AM. I had to find alternate accommodation. I can’t imagine what would happen if something broke overnight — you’d just be stuck with it.”

“Can't beat the price! Clean room, hot shower. Spoke with the on-site manager. It's under new ownership and is being completely remodeled. Rooms have new bedding and towels while they renovate each room. ”

“Lakeshore location with a full panorama of the big lake, and sounds of surf is a great start. A full service restaurant and bar on the premises with friendly staff meant we could relax and stay put.”

“When I arrived, I was a little worried as it is an older hotel and just didn't have the curb appeal of most hotels. I was pleasantly surprised. It is an older hotel that appears to be in transition and trying to be updated. Don't get me wrong this is no 4 or 5 star hotel but it was clean, in a great location and the front desk staff was kind and courteous. For the price, this hotel was perfect. If you need a clean, cheap place to lay your head for the night, I recommend this hotel. If you are in...

“Front desk staff was excellent, very helpful but the rooms need work. Carpeting in the room had large stains, sink cracked, multiple outlets non functional. Cold a.m. showers.”
