“Quaint and comfortable stay for our one night in the most adorable town of Shelburne Falls. A walk to the river and the bridge of flowers at sunset gave us the most beautiful pictures. Owner was kind and helpful. We stayed here while my son biked at Thunder Mountain-a quick easy 10 min drive away and would stay again.”

“Clean . New. Didn't like the fact my door was knocked on at 1100am saying I had to check out when my reservation said noon. The gentleman was rude. And rushed me out of there going so far as to follow me to the office and basically telling me to leave. Very unprofessional. That needs to get cleaned up. Nice place otherwise”

“I was thrilled with the location. Very short walk into town, and had plenty of parking. Checking in was a breeze by just using codes to the doors. My first impression walking into the building was that it smelled VERY clean. My room was spotless, bright and charming. I stayed in Room #8, and it was the perfect size for a single or a couple. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a blow dryer, but that is a VERY minor mark. 5 stars all around, and will stay here again!”

“We stayed that this hotel for a last minute sports competition. The hotel was terribly outdated. The room seamed not very clean (dust in corners), with old worn linens (which did seem clean/ washed). The hallway smelled musty and the carpet was outdated and worn. In some places where the carpet had worn through, you could see the older carpet underneath it. “The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely...

“Room had duct tape on the floor holding the carpet down, bathroom door had holes in it where hooks use to be, room was damp and musty, chair was in disrepair, call from front desk at 11pm stating smoking was occuring in the room (malfunctioning fire protection equipment), outlets intermittently worked.”

“Other than the night paving project taking place outside the hotel, the stay was okay. The hotel is not responsible for the timing of the project, but it might be mindful to assign rooms furthest from the main drag.”

“This hotel does not have an elevator and has two levels. I had luggage and had to schlepp my luggage up and down. The front office male would not assist. Also their front reception lady was confused on how to check out and had to call her husband and asked me to return which I refused as I had to catch a flight. The "resteraunt" is not really a cafe.
