“Conveniently located in a beautiful historic building. Unfortunately, despite the beautiful appearances, the 4 star experience just fell a little short of what we expected for a 4 star hotel. There were moments of delight such as our bags already being brought up to our room before we checked in later, but other things also fell short. “Location was near 16th Street Mall, but also surrounded by a lot of homeless encampments. We chose the location based on its proximity to Coors Field, but the walk back after dark was sketchy. When we checked in we noticed the toilet was plugged up. Maintenance took care of it, but just an indication of the dated property. The room was really dark. Fortunately we spent the rest of the trip in the surrounding towns closer to the mountains and parks.”
