“The room was very modern, comfortable and clean. It was very close to the waterfront, where we spent most of our time while there.
We didn't care for the barn door on the bathroom. It was a bit noisy. The flooring in the bathroom looked dirty, but I think it was just the flooring material that was used. There was sufficient (open style) closet space, but only one small drawer and only one spot to place luggage. Storage was limited for two people for a stay of a few days.

“Beautiful historic hotel with very friendly staff. Not cookie cutter like so many big chains.
Park with beautiful gardens right across the street and the Citadel a very short walk.
20 minute walk to great waterfront restaurants and close to University and old historic churches and buildings to look at on the way to the waterfront.
Highly recommend!”

“Staff were friendly but, mold growing out of the backsplash to countertop connection on the vanity ( housekeeping likely could have used a sharp object to clean this easily ), Table on the way in was broken ( at that it’s an easy fix ). Windows aren’t sealing well because the *repaceable* latches were all smashed, This accentuates the highway noise. Clearly maintaining the property is not priority.
