“Nice motel, you can reach the harbor in 10 minutes on foot or easily with the bus. Very good choice if you plan to visit the Acadia National Park or for whale watching or other activities in Bar Harbor.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this adorable motel and cottages. Very clean and so cutely decorated. The bed was super comfy. The fully stocked fire pit was such a nice amenity. We didn’t receive the text regarding the checkin process, so that was a bit confusing. Would love another hook on the back of the bathroom door perhaps? No closet made things a bit tight, but workable. Will recommend!”

“Was a great stay-just as shown in pictures and described on website. The blueberry muffins at breakfast were delicious! Outdoor pool was nice--there are no pool towels though. Parking is available close to your room. There are no elevators for 2nd floor rooms which was fine with us, but just to be aware.”

It was nice for us personally that the spots accommodated a large vehicle without any issue. Just outside the rooms was a nice porch with chairs, great for booking rooms adjacent to friends. “The hotel was clean, well maintained, and in close walking distance to restaurants and a grocery store. My one complaint is they do not advertise that they provide a grab and go breakfast every morning. Yogurt, muffins or donuts, granola bars, etc. Thinking I only had a tiny fridge and small microwave in my room and not wanting to spend big bucks buying breakfast each morning, I bought $75 worth of muffins, yogurt and cereal before arriving. “Our room was on the 2nd floor Portside. We had a great view of the bay, sunrise and sunset. The breakfast is awesome with many options, healthy and yummy blueberry muffins! Evening fireplace complete with smores was fun and the staff throughout the hotel was friendly and helpful.”

“Good hotel overall: clean, spacious rooms, well organized, and a convenient free shuttle to downtown every 15 minutes. Unfortunately, my “ocean view” balcony room was right in front of the air conditioning units and the restaurant’s exhaust chimney. Constant noise and fried food smell made it impossible to sleep well or enjoy the balcony. These rooms should not be priced the same as unobstructed ocean views. Poor management decision that shows little attention to guest comfort.”
