“You will not be disappointed with what you see once you see inside the doors. Beautifully decorated and everything you need, but... it is more like a modular 4-apartment home / b&b - no ocean view, at the end of a dirt road (lots of dust), but a few deer met us as we unpacked. We were skeptical at first, yet pleasantly surprised with our stay. I highly recommend, so long as your expectations are set.”

“The Inn is so cute and cozy. The wallpaper in living room and dining room is eye catching and makes it feel like a home. I stayed in Room 11 and the bed so comfortable and there was plenty of room. It had a detached bathroom right across the hallway which was your own. I would stay here again when I come back up to Bar Harbor! You can walk to the village center in about 20 minutes ”

“Convenient location for the town centre, rich breakfast although very crowded. Children's playground and heated pool. Unfortunately the sound insulation in the rooms is very bad. Do not take rooms on the ground floor because you will hear all the footsteps from the upper rooms and you will sleep poorly.”

“I paid for 3 Deluxe King bedrooms - stayed 1 night 4/19/2026. Christopher at front desk gave me 2 basic king bedrooms (Room # 102 and 103) and 1 deluxe king bedroom (208). I was tired and did not want to start a complain. Just wish if Christopher would refund the difference between the deluxe and the basic room instead of not saying anything. ”

“The hotel is well maintained and in good condition, as well as very clean. All surfaces and materials looked new and well cared for. The staff was friendly and courteous. The breakfast included a good selection and was well presented and tasty. We would highly recommend this hotel to other travelers and would stay again”

“This was a disaster! We booked this room as part of our honeymoon and we ended up getting sick from it and having to cut our stay short. The room was awkward and strange but that’s manageable. What we couldn’t stand was the intense smell of bleach that make us cough and burned our eyes and sinuses. I don’t know what they were trying to cover up but it made us sick. “Afternoon tea and breakfast offerings were always-changing and unique. We enjoyed the privacy of our cottage room, but the community of the house and dining. Cottage Inn staff was all friendly and helpful! The proximity to everything was very convenient. The water pressure was incredible as well.”
