“The Inn is so cute and cozy. The wallpaper in living room and dining room is eye catching and makes it feel like a home. I stayed in Room 11 and the bed so comfortable and there was plenty of room. It had a detached bathroom right across the hallway which was your own. I would stay here again when I come back up to Bar Harbor! You can walk to the village center in about 20 minutes ”

Le stanze sono datate, mobili con segni di usura, aria condizionata e frigo rumorosi. “I paid for 3 Deluxe King bedrooms - stayed 1 night 4/19/2026. Christopher at front desk gave me 2 basic king bedrooms (Room # 102 and 103) and 1 deluxe king bedroom (208). I was tired and did not want to start a complain. Just wish if Christopher would refund the difference between the deluxe and the basic room instead of not saying anything. ”

“This was a disaster! We booked this room as part of our honeymoon and we ended up getting sick from it and having to cut our stay short. The room was awkward and strange but that’s manageable. What we couldn’t stand was the intense smell of bleach that make us cough and burned our eyes and sinuses. I don’t know what they were trying to cover up but it made us sick. “Afternoon tea and breakfast offerings were always-changing and unique. We enjoyed the privacy of our cottage room, but the community of the house and dining. Cottage Inn staff was all friendly and helpful! The proximity to everything was very convenient. The water pressure was incredible as well.”

“Good hotel overall: clean, spacious rooms, well organized, and a convenient free shuttle to downtown every 15 minutes. Unfortunately, my “ocean view” balcony room was right in front of the air conditioning units and the restaurant’s exhaust chimney. Constant noise and fried food smell made it impossible to sleep well or enjoy the balcony. These rooms should not be priced the same as unobstructed ocean views. Poor management decision that shows little attention to guest comfort.”
