“Very clean, beautiful and quiet location with a large room”

“Room was cosy and clean. The hosts were very courteous from arrival to departure. Breakfast was absolutely superb, very fresh and tasty produce. Would stay again.”

Purtroppo la struttura ha arredamneto molto datato e con la moquette, ma è comunque pulito in generale. La colazione modesta, purtroppo servita in un piccolo spazio in reception. Il prezzo modesto ti fa dimenticare di tutte le pecche per chi viaggia e si ferma una sola notte di passaggio.”

“The staff are lovely and helpful. I did not think the room we had could be classed as superior because the bed has an old fashioned type of mattress which is not comfortable. For a superior room I was expecting a bigger more comfortable bed. We could not open the window at night because it is very low down and wild life could easily get through at night. The buffet breakfast is quite basic, there were no croissants or pastries of any kind. The location is absolutely beautiful . The staff are...

“Nice room (though the bathroom lacked a shelf for you to put your stuff) and well appointed. The parking was irksome (and even though hardly anyone was using it day and night the staff gave me a tedious "if we break a rule for you we'd have to do it for everyone" admonishment.) Frankly it was fine but not really £250-worth of value.”

“Beautiful room, more like a suite! Comfortable bed. Beautiful historic building set with picturesque gardens in the perfect location for dinner in Newmarket. Breakfast menu perfect for our needs! Would 100% recommend. ”

“The property was welcoming to pets. They aren't set up for anyone requiring a shower seat. The room was a good size but the bed wasn't very comfortable. One of the rooms needed to be swapped because the toilet wouldn't flush. The staff were really helpful and friendly.”
