“Would Stay Again”

I enjoyed my stay with the hotel for two nights. The staff were amazing and friendly. The hotel was a bit further away from the city center than I had anticipated however, the public transit connections were easy enough to access and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable with helping me. I found the hotel clean, affordable, comfortable and very quiet with a lovely little bar.

“Comfortable and Clean”

I was looking for a budget hotel for a weekend stay in Dublin and hit on this place at a very attractive rate. It's location, the Park West business area explains why the rate was lower but taxis will get you back on the tourist trail if that's what you are looking for. As for the hotel itself - firstly parking. This is adjacent to the hotel itself and secure. Reception and checki-in was quick, efficient and friendly. My bedroom was a good size, very clean and comfortable with an above average level of equipment - tea/coffee making facilities, press, hair dryer, tv with built in DVD player. Internet access (wifi) was free throughout the hotel and I've got to say was the fastest I've come across anywhere. If you are dining in, there's a small restaurant which has a fairly basic menu. Food quality is fair, quantity is large, prices are good. There's also a small residents bar. For dining out, get a taxi into the main part of the city. Conclusion. It's a business hotel which you can get good budget rates especially at weekends and in the current economic climate.

If you are new to Dublin, check out the Temple Bar area to get a good flavour of nightlife especially on the weekends. There's plenty of bars and restaurants with a good Irish welcome.

“Hotel is fine. Location is in business park so unsuitable for tourists, especially without car.”

The actual hotel is fine. Nice, clean and quiet.However it is in a business park so I wouldn't recommend it to tourists unlwaa thwy want a stopover before heading to Cork, Limerick or whatever.. There is an infrequent train service, though, to Heuston station. Food and bar prices are high.

You can get the train (roughly once an hour to Heuston) and have a pleasant walk ( 30/40 minutes) alongside the quays into the centre.

“good if you don't mind being outwith the city centre”

hotel was really clean, staff were helpful, nothing in the vicinity except a couple of shops but the bus goes from the door to the city centre for 1.85 euro so its easy to get into town, once you find it. prices were fantastic for Dublin though, i would stay here again

“Excellent!!”

I can't say enough about this hotel!! My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and loved the whole experience. The hotel seemed like it was newly built and was very modern looking and clean. The location was excellent and only a 15 to 20 min drive into downtown Dublin. The staff was very helpful and kind. The beds were firm and very comfortable and we had a great view from the 6th floor. They offer free Wi-Fi and have a restaurant and bar on site. We recommend this hotel to everyone, it's hard to beat this deal!

“Good value but very bad location!”

The only problem with this hotel is the location, is very far from the city center, there is no close train like they say. The buses are not so often as they say! Check it very carefully! Other than that the hotel is new so the rooms looks very good.

It seems there is nothing to do in Dublin after ~23:00. But around 21:00 there are free live shows in many of the pubs - it's nice.

“Aspect hotel does the job”

We spent 3 nights here. Surrounding area was mainly industrial, though there was a small Spar and a chinese/thai restuarant very near by. A good hotel by car (free parking), and possible from the centre by bus or train, but we only tried the train. I think it was €2.20 single into Houston station but timetable a bit hazy as it is literally a brand new station. Room was good, telly has bbc as well as irish stations. Free wifi throughout which worked easily and quickly on our iphones. didn't try the restaurant.

“Quite a pleasant hotel”

The hotel is quite difficult to find even with the GPS especially from M50 which is very confusing. But we are pleased with this hotel about 30 minutes by bus ride at the cost of 1.80 Euro to the city centre. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean.

“A good 3 star hotel!”

The staff were friendly and courteous, however when I asked about the free shuttle bus into the city centre they advised that it departed at 11:00 & 13:00 daily but failed to mention that places on the shuttled needed to be booked in advance! This led to my partner and I being annoyed on the Saturday morning when we attempted to ride the shuttle into the city only to be told that it was full and as we hadn't booked we would have to wait for the next one! The hotel was clean and fairly close to the city centre (10 mins by taxi or 22 by train/tram) with Park West Station approx a 2 minute walk away, with services to Heuston every 1hr and 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this hotel but please note that a taxi from the airport will cost you approx 45 Euros as it's approx a 30 minute journey! The only other bad thing was that the hotel was fairly noisy Saturday and Sunday night! Would definitely go back but will use the airport shuttle & train (10 Euros each) to get to the hotel instead of paying 45 Euros for a taxi.

“Not the best for a weekend visit”

I had read that this hotel was very near a train station, and having stayed at hotels out of the city centre but near stations before I decided it should be fine. Little did I know until I arrived how poorly this railway station is served. And, as the hotel only offers a shuttle bus that can take a maximum of 8 twice a day at 11am and 1pm into Dublin, and no return shuttle service, this really is a hotel for car owners, unless you like expensive taxi fares or long bus journeys. That said the hotel is modern and not unlike the Jury's Inn, Premier Inn, Travelodge type offer. No frills, just the basics. At the end of the day it's an ok hotel, for business travellers, which is only in the right place for tourists who wish a bit of a transport challenge.
