le camere sono pulite anche se un pò piccole, buono il servizio del bar/ristorante al piano terra. distante dal centro 20 minuti a piedi ma con una fermata del tram proprio davanti all' ingresso da sfruttare per l' efficenza dei mezzi. da tenere in considerazione se i prezzi degli alberghi del centro sono troppo elevati
“Not a Great Option but an Ok Option”
Booked late and this was the only thing within an affordable range. There is a mixed bar district nearyby, thought there is a bit of a quite/slightly dodgy feel to the area, though some of the places seemed to have character. That said it is less than a few minutes by metro the centre. Rooms are basic and small, though clean. Breakfast is good though there was a large tour group that monpolised the entire space during the stay. All in all not bad, not great, just ok.

We would stay again. Hotel staff were helpful, spoke English, and the hotel was located across the street from a tram which provided a short ride to city center, the wharf or wherever. Although the room was small, the TV provided access to a wide variety of channels and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel seemed to be frequented by locals primarily. Hotel Cumulus Olympia was so much less expensive than the other hotels in Helsinki like the Radisson.

Positives: - sauberes Zimmer, ins. saubere Bettwäsche und WC - sehr großes und angenehmes Badezimmer - kostenlose Internetverbindung per Kabel im Zimmer - sehr gute Verbindung ans öffentliche Nahverkehrsnetz, auch Taxi-Stand um die Ecke - sehr leckeres und ausgiebiges Frühstück Negatives: - Einzelzimmer war sehr klein - Wireless Internet nur mit Zuzahlung möglich - Die Gegend rund ums Hotel ist sehr "alternativ"
“Cumulus Olympia, für eine Nacht okay”
Cumulus Olympia Helsinki war eine Notlösung für eine Nacht, weil mein anderes Hotel erst am nächsten Tag frei war und mein Studentenapartment erst viel später frei wurde. Also war ich froh, dass ich überhaupt noch ein Hotel gefunden hatte. Wie die Überschrift schon aussagt, ist das Hotel für eine Nacht auch ganz okay. Im Bad waren noch Haare vom Vorbesucher, das Zimmer an sich war relativ klein, aber da ich nicht viel erwartet hab, war das okay. Internetverbindung ist gratis (via Ethernet-Kabel, das im Zimmer enthalten ist) und konstant gut. Das war für mich das Wichtigste. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist okay, nicht überragend. Alleine die Räumlichkeiten für das Frühstück sind begrenzt und einige Gäste konnten nicht zur gewollten Zeit essen. Die Lage ist ein bisschen außerhalb der Innenstadt, man kann aber in 15 Minuten Gehzeit dort sein. Wenn man einen kleinen Hügel überquert. Oder man nimmt die Tram, die direkt vor der Haustüre wegfährt. Hatte keine Probleme mit irgendwas, also kann ich mich nicht beklagen. Für längere Aufenthalte würde ich ein anderes Hotel nehmen, z.B. das Radisson Blu Royal in der Stadtmitte.
