Hotel vicino a Brockhole - The Lake District Visitor Centre - Windermere

“The location was amazing with lakeside views. The staff were extremely helpful, breakfast was delicious and cooked well. The room was clean and very comfortable with all the required amenities!”

“The hotel is in an excellent location, close to town, close to Orrest head walk with stunning views and only 30min walk to the lake which saved us parking charges. Plenty of parking at the property, Room was very clean. The breakfast was 10/10. Overall excellent value for money.”

“Jonathan was very welcoming. The lounge was a nice place to hang out with friends. Our bed was comfortable and the coffee service in the room went above the ordinary. Breakfast was delicious - make sure to order the prunes they’re amazing!”

“We were returning customers to Low wood bay @ the winander club. We were slightly disappointed to see that spa access was no longer included in Winander rooms but it is a beautiful spa, so we paid the extra £140. We were disappointed to find out if you wanted to borrow some slippers for the spa, they were also chargeable now. And on check out I was very shocked to see they were also now charging £12 per day to park your car if you hadn’t booked directly with them. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed...

“Heated mirror has exposed electrical connections with brown insulation tape covering it, not correct IP rating for a sink/ bathroom. Extractor fan going incorrect way flowing dust into bathroom. White carpet not very white anymore (minor) Walking distance to alot of good stuff nearby.”

“Nice place, right time of the year. Cabin and hot tub were excellent. The shared pool leaves a little to be desired for young kids. Especially those who may not be confident in the water. I would go back and stay in Lodge 15 Langsdale again. Short trips in the car gave great views of the area and loads to do. ”

“The stay at the cottage was good. It is positioned on a busy road but it quiets down later at night. There is a shop at the petrol station that has everything you will need for the stay and close to bus tops to take to Ambleside and Windermere. The beds are on the soft side but not uncomfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped but he had to buy paper kitchen towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets. All in all, our stay was great. We would stay here again. ”

“Constant battle to get anything sorted. Sykes holiday cottage agents said no pets in contract after advertising as with pets. Photos made look spacious but crab walk into rooms as tiny. Friday morning not even the water was working so left early. Cleaner said it was typical of the holiday park. ”
