“Très beau jardin et roseraie magnifique. La vue sur la mer annoncée avec ma réservation était seulement présente sur la terrasse devant la chambre. Chambre confortable et bien équipée, sauf les matelas à ressorts qui sont très durs ! Le restaurant pour le petit déjeuner ou pour dîner n'appartient pas à l'hôtel. Les menus sont très quelconques et il n'y a pas assez de place pour tout le monde à l'intérieur, obligeant à faire la queue ou à manger en terrasse, ce qui était un peu juste à la période...

“Ottima posizione in mezzo alla natura. Struttura molto carina.Proprietario gentilissimo. Buona la colazione preparata in stile picnic ogni mattina. Stanza grande e pulita. Letto comodissimo. Se volete un posto rilassante e silenzioso lontano dai turisti è perfetto.”

“We stayed here in fall 2023. Location is very convenient to Ribiera Brava (5 minutes by car; we did not take a bus). Great restaurants in town Beautiful clifftop views of the ocean. Private pool (for the 3 units). Very nice ocean view balcony for wine etc. Make sure you let the hosts know when you are arriving as they need to open the front gate (our fault!). Ample parking inside the gate. Wonderful clean facilities. Breakfasts excellent in a common kitchen (too many choices…the pastries...

Rooms are clean with lovely facilities, great pool and the views are heavenly. Good location, less than 5 mins drive to the beach in Calheta. Highly recommended.”

“E' un piccolo hotel/pensione, in ottima posizione, a 10 minuti a piedi dal lungomare e dal centro storico di Funchal (molto più vicino rispetto a tutta la zona dei grandi hotel ! ). Si trova su una stradina un po' in alto, per cui per arrivarci c'è da fare una strada in salita piuttosto ripida (del resto tutta Funchal è fatta di salite e discese...). Fabio, il proprietario, è una persona molto cordiale e di grande aiuto con tutto (prenotazioni, consigli, escursioni....), fantastico. Camere...

“Alles in Allem ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Man sollte einen Mietwagen nehmen, obwohl der Bus direkt vor dem Haus hält. Das guesthouse liegt etwas abseits. Parkplätze auf der Straße vorhanden, schnelles Internet, Satellitenfernsehen, Frühstück kann Vorort gebucht. Super lecker. Eier von eigenen Hühnern, Obst zum Teil aus dem Garten. Abends die Möglichkeit einen Absacker zu genießen. Dass Bier braut ein Freund (eine Bar ist zudem direkt gegenüber). Alle Zimmer Meerblick. Die Betreiber kommen aus...

“Le calme de l'etablissement avec son magnifique jardin”

“Check in was alright and stay was good until check out when the owner was on site. I believed the check out was 12pm, but actually 11. Fortunately we had all bags ready and at 11;15am were told to leave immediately. Took literally 7 minutes for us to leave the room, no guests waiting to enter. Then we asked owner could we please eat some food before we left in the downstairs common area. He replied rudely "No" check out at 11 means out the door off the premises completely. Strange since he knew...
