“Wonderful boutique hotel, a stone throw away from the ocean, with just a handful of well appointed rooms (former classrooms). The property shares a larger lot with a nicer campground part of the same organization. Quiet and peaceful overall. Note however that despite the beautiful decor and finish inside the main building, sound insulation is minimal in the bedrooms. Clean and modern bathrooms. “No one was there when I arrived. The door was locked. The property was littered with garbage. I ended up leaving.”

“Loved the view from the room and the beds were comfortable. The hallways are tiled and it was very loud with people coming and going all the time and the doors all slammed shut (no soft closes). Also, breakfast is not included, so that was a bit misleading. And we had horrible service the day we did get breakfast. The server took our order and then immediately asked us to check out (before we got drinks or anything), so she could take her break. She did bring our food out, but then immediately...

“The hotel is close to the airport and the city of McKinleyville. The staff is helpful and kind. Breakfast is okay. I enjoy their freshly brewed coffee. The premade breakfast burritos and egg sausage sandwiches are satisfactory. Overall, the property is well maintained and very clean. Our flight from Tucson to Seattle was delayed by several hours. We lost our first night stay at the hotel, which had been paid in advanced. And our first day for our rental car as well. I asked for a refund but...

“Because it is an older place the wear is visible. It is very clean and check in was quick and easy. Surprisingly it is more quiet than I expected. I would definitely stay again .”
