“valido”
hotel in buona posizione, comodo ai mezzi pubblici anche se non è il più bel quartiere di Parigi, pulito e buona anche la colazione
“Hand for the eurostar”
basic , but clean and comfortable base in Paris. Good buffet breakfast
“Nice little hotel, nice staff, good location for eurostar”
Stayed here because it was close to the Eurostar - about 8 mins walk from Gare Du Nord. Saw one homeless person when passing and another mumbling to himself but I didn't feel unsafe. The hotel was nice, looks just like the pictures. At first the A/C didn't work, but rang up reception and he dealt with it swiftly. The safe box didn't work, though I didn't ask about that - I used my lock and suitcase. Bathroom was very clean and white. Disappointed with the little shampoos and body wash they provided - not much lather, so used my own. The hotel has many surrounding restaurants, cafes and takeaways. There's also a nearby supermarket which was handy. Reception staff are friendly and speak good English. We had missed the buffet which ended at 10am, but the lady manning it let us come in and eat anyway - much appreciated! Wish there were drinks facilities in the room i.e. kettle, cups, tea and coffee but that's only a minor complaint. If you really want to, there are drinks facilities downstairs in reception that you're free to use.
“Enjoyed my time here”
This is a little hotel with friendly service. Breakfast is included in the price and you can eat all you want. The hotel is close to Gare de l'Est and the métro. Lots of eating places abound. Famous buildings and sites are within walking distance if you enjoy walking and it is easy to take the métro. I enjoyed my time here.
“Good central base”
Friendly staff, clean and quiet room (at the back of the hotel). A good locality - centrally situated with plenty of good places to eat.
“Excellent location for train stations”
The rooms looked out onto other hotel windows but the hotel had everything we needed and we found it very well priced for Paris. Adequate breakfast.
“Location, location, location.”
Reception on 1st floor up flight of stairs - no lift. Male receptionist - a smile would not have gone amiss. Room small but fine, bathroom good.Cleaned daily.Small wardrobe, no other storage. No mirror in room, only in bathroom. Breakfast room seats only 20 but we had no problem each morning getting a table. Breakfast very good. Location excellent for travelling - Gare du Nord only 10 mins walk, Gare De L'est Metro 2 mins. Travel by Metro, buy Carnet - 10 tickets 12 euro. If visiting Versailles - Purchase entrance tickets online. At Gare de L'est buy a "Billet ile de France" combines metro inside Paris & RER trip to Versailles, ask for return cost 6.10 euro. Metro to St Michael then RER from St Michal Notre Dame to Versailles Rive Gauche. Restaurants outside hotel OK but worth a metro trip for better choice. Cost of food & wine in restaurants & bars vey reasonable but not so for beer, ranged from 5 to 9 euros a half litre ( on Champs Elysees 13 euros )
“Would love to go back at anytime.”
We were very happy with the hotel itself, while the room was on the small side it was very comfortable, clean and modern.Well maintained every day, room cleaning staff were friendly even with the language barrier. The location was great, close to the metro, buses and walking distance to all the sights of Paris. We would highly recommend this hotel.
“small and quite basic, but does all the important things right”
The All Seasons Hotel de Gare de L'Est is conveniently situated right beside the Gare de L'Est Metro - travel anywhere is easy. The district is very functional, not pretty, but OK. There are good places for an evening meal right at the hotel door. Rooms in the hotel were small but clean and well serviced with good en suite facilities. The breakfast room was a bit puzzling - it seats only 20 and was very crowded sometimes - and though the hotel makes a lot about a healthy breakfast and indeed provides paper place mats which tell you about this, for four of our six days no cereal was provided and very little fruit. Breakfast, then, was effectively bread and coffee (which I like!) orange juice and yoghurt, and that was it. It's an inexpensive hotel, though, and staff were friendly and it was a safe and fairly comfortable place, so while I would not rave about it, it was fine, really.
“No fuss and comfortable”
This is an ideal hotel for those wanting to visit and explore Paris. It is a no fuss hotel, good value which provides a comfortable place to sleep without any hint of luxury which is a waste of money as you spend most of your time visiting the sights of Paris. It is ideally situated being within walking distance of many of the sights and right next door to a metro station. You have to be able to bear the eclectic green orange and purple decoration but it is fresh and clean and tidy. There was some damage to the decor in the bathroom which would benefit from some attention. Breakfast is very welcome and is simple but plentiful. The breakfast room is a bit small and when the hotel is full you might have to wait for a table. The solution to that is to breakfast at 8am.
