“Decent place to stay for the money”

The hotel staff didn't speak great English but it was enough to get through the basics. The only issue I had was I never could understand what I needed to do in order to get the WiFi to work. It was complimentary but I never quite figured it out and no one had good enough English to explain and my French isn't good enough to understand when they told me in French. The room was clean and adequate although small. The hotel is only a block from the Metro (Bastille station) so very conveniently located even though it's not right near all the major attractions. (Notre Dame, Effile Tower etc). I would stay there again.

“Great value for money!”

This was a basic hotel offering great value for money. It's situation is superb, two different Metro stops on two different lines are within 100yds of the hotel. I would compare it to a travelodge or something of that ilk. Staff were very polite and helpful,, checkout was midday--a bonus! Rooms were small but modern and very clean with a good, powerful shower. Would quite happily stay here again and recommend it to all. Jamie.

“Good value, great location”

A reasonable value hotel in an expensive area. The room was basic, but comfortable and clean. However, the real advantage of this hotel is its location – between the happening Bastille area and the chic Marais and within easy walking distance of both. An area of Paris where there's lots to discover, and great for those who've already visited the main tourist sites and are looking for something new.

“A new Years Blessing”

Fantactic Hotel in great area of Paris. The Marais and Bastille areas are extremely easy to access from the Gare du Nord and offer the most tranquil and chic account of the wonderful cultural city that is Paris. Getting the Metro is a peice of cake but you'll definately want to bin public transport and just stroll around and explore the areas. The musse D'Orsay on the banks of the Seine is just unreal!!! “Great base for a trip to Paris, without breaking your budget”

I chose this hotel after agonising for quite a long time on how to find a well-priced, centrally located, realtively modern Parisian hotel The Campanile did not disappoint on any of those fronts. The standard of accommodation was similar to the type of chain budget-hotels you find in the UK - modern fittings, clean and tidy, and a welcome place to rest your head at the end of the day While it may lack the 'character' of a family run hotel, we felt that the other side of the coin was that you can risk getting a terrible place as easily as a charming one It was also convenient, being 5 minutes walk from the Bastille monument and opera and 100 yards to the nearest Metro station The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay just that little bit more pleasant - overall, this place comes well recommended

“Clean, basic and perfect location!”

This is a great little chain hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful,a nd the rooms are although basic, clean and well equipped. If you're looking for a good value hotel in Bastille area, this place is highly recommended. They also have a lovely little garden/courtyard for you to enjoy your breakfast.

“Great location, air conditioned!”

This is a fine hotel, nothing special, good breakfast buffet, however it has two major plusses. - It is a block away from two different Metro lines, and walking distance to Place de la Bastille and the wonderful Marais neighborhood. - It is air conditioned, a rare luxury during Paris summers. I'd return.

Proche d'une station de métro, l'hôtel est situé dans une rue calme. Agréable et convivial, le personnel est serviable, discret et disponible. Pratique quant à ses horaires de réception, je recommande cet hôtel.

“well placed, not expensive, but noisy rooms (take your earplugs and it's ok)”

The hotel is in a very good location, near Marais and just beside 2 metro stations. Rooms and small but cosy and clean. However, walls are very thin and it is possible to hear doors closing, people talking in the corridor and other sounds. Take your earplugs and it will be fine. Breakfast is also very good, but not included.
