Hotel vicino a Shell Bay Beach - Swanage

“I chose a budget room which was £144 per night. I stayed two nights over the Bank Holiday heatwave . There was a brick wall outside my window and only two of the windows would open a maximum of 3 inches. The bathroom window did not open and the fan was not working. It was wretched in the heat. You have to have the light on to see even in daylight. I was given a very basic fan . I asked to change my room the next day. It was inhumane to expect anyone to be in a room with no ventilation in that...

“Great location, less than 30 seconds to the quay. Room had everything you'd expect from a b&b. Fabulous breakfast, there was even an option of standard or large size! Would stay again if we're in the area. Friendly, welcoming host.”

“Area around hotel not the best. Glad we were not there at weekend, but hotel felt very secure. The locked, very expensive , underground parking. Lifts that required a room key to use them gave a good feeling of security. Good aircon , plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed made for a good stay. “Lovely clean and tidy hotel. The rooms look refurbished and were spotless. We had the family room which was bigger than we were expecting. Two separate bedrooms and a bathroom. The staff were pleasant. Parking plentiful. Breakfast (eggs, hash browns, beans, sausages, bacon etc.) was included. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops. Perfect for our stay.”

“Perfect room for the tired golfer. Yards from the 18th hole and a minute's walk to the restaurant and a delicious full English in the morning. Smiling, helpful staff. Clean room, comfy bed, everything in good working order. Will return. ”
