“Hotel datato e mai rinnovato negli spazi comuni. Camere confortevoli. Parking molto limitato. A due passi dall Históric Harbour. ”

“Well placed ancient hotel close to the main activities in Portsmouth. Although, the cleaning serve was very disappointing: we have found a spit in the internal side of the main window, the bathromm was not well clean and there were a bush of someone’s hair and a sponge on the bathroom floor. Moreover the cleaning service did not clean the room even after has been requested: they have only refilled the bottle of water and changed the tea cups. They haven’t touched the beds or done anything else. ”

“Our stay at the property was a pleasant one. The beds and bathroom were clean but the carpet has noticeable dirt/stains in the room and the chairs in the common area were very dirty. The staff were exceptional and very helpful and kind. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices.”

“Struttura pulita, situata in quello che sembrava essere un vecchio pub. La signora alla reception gentilissima e molto disponibile. Stanza singola piuttosto piccola, ma essenziale soprattutto se ci si deve solo dormire, tra l'altro con una bella vista su parte della città. La zona è molto tranquilla e vicina sia alla zona del porto sia al centro città (10 minuti a piedi entrambe). Unica scomodità è l'assenza di ascensore che ti obbliga a fare tre piani a piedi, ma tutto sommato è perfetto....

“Very pleasantly surprised. The new owners are really going to town, modernising everywhere, from bedrooms to restaurant, lobby, everywhere. Its now a very chic / boutique place. We only had breakfast there but that too was very good, well coked and good portions. attention to detail and eco friendliness is evident too, and the hosts said they will soon be upgrading the outdoor pool to solar powered heating. It's in a really good location, a short walk from the 'world' famous Chine and old...

“Very friendly and helpful staff wether it be waitress receptionist or cleaner nothing was to much trouble. We had a family room which was spacious with comfortable beds and a roomy ensuite. We dined at the hotel every night and the meals were delicious, well cooked, plentiful and reasonably priced we had no complaints to make about anything. This was our second time of staying at this hotel and we would definitely stay again.”
