Wenn man weiß, worauf man sich einlässt, ist das Boardinghouse eine sehr gute Wahl. Es liegt super zentral und als alleinreisender war das Einzelzimmer für mich völlig ausreichend. Das Zimmer war modern und sauber. Der komplett digitale Check-In verlief bei mir schnell und problemlos, ich war innerhalb von 3 Minuten auf meinem Zimmer. Der Lage geschuldet bleibt es nicht aus, dass Umgebungsgeräusche auftreten, aber für mein Empfinden war das alles IM Rahmen. Sehr zu empfehlen für einen Kurztrip oder Geschäftlich Reisende.

Zeer goed gelegen en de kamer was prima. Inchecken ging goed, al had er wat beter licht kunnen zijn op de automaat.. Locatie is super, midden in de stad en bij de kroegjes en restaurants. Ontbijt: ga naar ExtraBlatt op de markt: een aanrader!!

Es wäre beim nächsten Mal hilfreich den aktuellen Zugangscode für die Eingangstüren zu haben. Der mir zugesandte Code war veraltet und ein Zugang sowie ein folgender check-in im 1. OG zunächst nicht möglich. Durch eine Mitarbeiterin des im gleichen Haus befindlichen Restaurants erhielten wir den aktuellen Zugangscode.

Hotel alt aber ok. Zimmer, die zur Gasse nach vorne raus gehen quasi nicht bewohnbar. Nachts kann man nicht schlafen, da bis 5 Uhr grölende Menschen rumlaufen. Fenster halten quasi nichts ab.

Great place to stay in central Aachen!
The rooms we rented were very clean and modern. We had just a little trouble getting in as you must put in the code and turn the SMALL knob to the left. It was very comfortable and quiet and the shower was great. Only complaint was that we could not stay connected to the wifi for a couple hours, then somehow it straightened itself out.

The room, especially the floor was totally dirty. We had been infomred there would only be "sporadic" cleaning but we assume that the room would be cleaned at least before a visit. This is probably related to the fact that there was hardly any toilet paper when we arrived and this was not replenished the next day, although a place in the bathroom is provided for it. We had no toilet paper on the first morning and had to get something ourselves, because we could not reach anybody. The water in the bathroom did not work well either, the cold water ran so sparingly that you could hardly add warmth without scalding yourself. And besides, the TV only works for five minutes and then turns off. We informed the hotel about this after our visit but received no reply, apology or anything.

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten im Herzen von Aachen. Unser Zimmer war zum Hinterhof raus und sehr ruhig. Frühstücken kann man in den umliegenden Cafés, da dürfte für jeden Geschmack was dabei sein. Für einen Kurztrip super. Schweres Gepäck sollte man nicht dabei haben, da es mit dem Auto nicht zugänglich war. Das Auto kann man aber im nahegelegenen Parkhaus (ca. 500 m) günstig übernachten lassen.

Unterkunft alles andere als empfehlenswert
Diese Unterkunft geht meiner Meinung nach überhaupt nicht: - kein WLAN-Empfang im Zimmer 1.10 - Notiz am Check-In-Automaten lautet in etwa wie folgt: "Sollten Sie Probleme mit dem Eintrittscode haben, melden Sie sich unter folgender Nummer.... Ist ihr Anruf nicht gerechtfertigt, berechnen wir 59,90 €." Sag mal, gehts noch! Das ist eine absolute Frechheit! - sehr kleines Zimmer mit Schiebeglastür zum Bad, die einen sehr großen Spalt zur Wand aufweist. Man bekommt wirklich alles mit! In meinen Augen ist diese Unterkunft eine Katastrophe!

Stadthotel mit guter Lage.
Für eine Stadtbesichtigungstour ist die Lage dieses Hotels ideal. Die Räumlichkeiten sind klein, das Badezimmer ist für kräftig gebaute Personen etwas eng. Sauberkeit und Service sind gut gewesen.

Am besten im Parkhaus am Büchel parken (15 Euro pro Tag). Check in erfolgt ohne Personal. Zimmer sind klein aber in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war bei Bezug sauber, aber die tägliche Reinigung lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Lediglich der Papierkorb wurde geleert - noch nie habe ich ein derart schlecht gemachtes Bett erlebt. Da wäre nichts tun besser gewesen. Alles in allem würde ich das Hotel für einen Kurztrip wieder buchen.
