Parking on-site and in the downtown Traverse area is very limited. Parking options for your stay include:
Onsite Metered Parking: Free overnight parking is available from 6pm-8am in the basement garage. Signage states no overnight parking, please ignore as it is not monitored between 6pm-8am; however meters are promptly checked at 8am. 3-hour metered parking is available in the garage Mon-Sat 8am-6pm with payment via coin or ParkMobile, an easy and convenient automated parking system that allows visitors to pay for their parking via mobile app on their smartphones, the internet, or a toll free number.
Free Street Parking: Open street parking is available on Boardman Ave., Webster St., Washington St., Wellington St. and surrounding neighborhood streets. The City does not allow overnight parking from November 16 through April 14 of each year; please follow street signage. The Governmental Building parking lot on Boardman Ave. across the street has free parking on evenings & weekends, but is paid parking during weekdays.
Paid Garage Parking: Old Town Parking Garage is located 0.3 miles west of Common Grounds on the same street at 125 E. Eighth St; enforced Mon-Sat 8:00am-6:00pm for $1.25-$1.50/hour max $20.00 or monthly permit for $30.00. Hardy Parking Garage is located 0.4 miles north of Common Grounds at 303 E. State St; enforced Mon-Sat 8:00am-6:00pm for $1.25-$1.50/hour max $20.00 or monthly permit for $50.00.
Please note that 3 days before check in time, we will place a temporary pre-authorization hold of $250 on your card. This hold verifies fund availability and covers potential incidental expenses during your stay. The hold will be released 7 days after check-out, pending no outstanding charges or damages. Your privacy and security are paramount, and all card information is handled confidentially. There is a non-refundable credit card processing fee applied to all reservations.
Guests pay a $25 amenity fee per guest per stay for access to the gym and other community facilities located onsite.
Guest parking is available for free in a parking ramp located .3 miles away. Guests may pay to park nearby or onsite a public, metered parking.
No smoking is allowed anywhere on the premises, including marijuana, vaping, or other types of smoking.
Guests are asked to be respectful of neighbors and quiet hours between 10pm-7am daily.
