Ottima la qualità e la varietà dei cibi nel ristorante principale. Il concetto di "all inclusive" non corrisponde alle aspettative in quanto molti piatti (specialmente nei ristoranti specializzati) debbono esere pagati e anche diverse bevande in molti bar sono non comprese nel "tutto incluso". Locale assolutamente valido per una vacanza di bambini in quanto dotato di moltissimi spazi a loro dedicati e di tanti giochi. La spiaggia, per quanto ampia, appare insufficiente per le molte centinaia di ospiti dell'hotel ed i lettini sono posti in più file a stretto contatto gli uni con gli altri. Non vi è sabbia ed il mare non è stato facilmente utilizzabile per nutoare in quanto infestato da moltissime meduse (stagionali ?) senza che vi fosse alcuna barriera (reti ?) per il loro ingresso nello spazio delimitato adibito a balneazione.

I had a bad experience at the check in and check out. The receptionist (Ismail) that checked me in was unprofessional and remarkably rude he had an attitude throughout the entire check in process and was not cooperative. It took hours for me to get my room. Moreover I booked a room with a pool/sea view and PAID extra for it. I was given a room with storage view where the pool would barely be seen from the corner of a small window. Overall, there was incompetence and uncooperativeness during the check in. During the check out, the receptionist were rude and unqualified. I called to get a late checkout to enjoy the beach for longer time, but the receptionist was rude about it and made a condition that I don’t enter the restaurant. They barely gave me an extra hour as a “late checkout” and tried to sound generous about it as if it’s not my right. The management was incompetent and all over the place, were not cooperative, and sounded condescending. This is not hospitality anymore. This isn’t how treatment should be in a five stars resort.

We were intrigued by the "All Inclusive" offering, and our expectations were certainly met. Upon arrival, the sheer size of the place was hard to miss – it's massive! Although there was a minor hiccup during check-in, where our reservation wasn't initially in the system, the check-in staff efficiently resolved the issue. However, it did cause a bit of a rush for us because check-in starts at 3 pm, we were delayed by 15 mins or so and then the lunch buffet ends at 3:30 pm. Even without the delay lunch ending just 30 minutes after check is something I found a bit disappointing. After enjoying lunch, we proceeded to our room and decided to explore the premises. Our visit to the Isla bar was a warm and enthusiastic experience, with Rafael taking excellent care of us. We also made a reservation for dinner at Fish Bone, and we were impressed by the diverse menu options. The staff at Fish Bone were not only attentive but also very friendly, with special mentions for Abassi and Krishna. Following dinner, we extended our evening on the outside terrace, savoring our wine and enjoying live music. The breakfast and lunch buffet consistently maintained a high standard, and the staff continued to be exceptionally attentive, with Seemab providing excellent service. Finally, check out was super smooth, with a team member with a tablet there was no need even to go to the counter and we were checked out in seconds!

Terrible destination for couples
Bad rooms, run-down buildings, i wont even mention the restaurants. Stay away unless you like to be surrounded by kids running around everywhere you go.

Service and people were good. Employees are so nice and helpful. The towels were clean but there was a smell on the towels. The shower head was falling down during the shower.

When i checked in to the hotel the room I was first given had mold on the air conditioning vents and the furniture was falling apart. Outstanding
One of the best places to stay in RAK. I’ve been to many resorts but his was outstanding. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the facilities are great. We had minor issue with the room but they changed our room to better option. I would recommend this hotel and it’s worth for what you pay for sure. I want to thank many front desk staff but I can recognize Mr. Ghalib for his assistance and support.

This Rixos Bab Al Bahr is not a 5 star luxury hotel. Too many people everywhere, too loud and not comfortable, too expensive for USD 500 paid per night. A clear misrepresentation. We know Rixos in Abu Dhabi which is really a great resort and service for 5 star.

This time it exceeded our expectations in service, activities & quality of food. We are regular customers at Rixos Bab Al-Bahr. It rarely disappoints us. This time was one of the best if not the best. Extra activities - all day long - that engages the family and kids at the pool, kids area, at the beach, inflatable bouncy castles. Staff were very helpful and service oriented, and service continues till very late at night with same passion and dedication. On top of our mind few names that were really attentive, Sinawla, Subash & Ismaiel. Yet we have couple of concerns, we aways request adding the stay points to our ALL account but every time we get disappointed. The hotel has shared ownership and we don’t get the stay ponts 😆. Another issue is the flexibility at check-in and out and the free upgrades. Late check out & early check ins are common requests, but hotel is very inflexible with this. Thanks to Redha at front desk for trying to help. Anyways, thanks for Rixos team, keep the high quality service all year long.

Mixed feeling, bad rooms
Everything outdoors including food was amazing, room was ordinary (at best 3.5 stars), there was no garden view (as was made to pay), there was a huge noisy generator (I guess) right outside the room, the windows were not sound proof and noise from the road outside was constant, mattress and pillows were below standard and not comfortable, curtains were torn, fittings in the toilet were leaking, wash basin clogged, towels definitely not up to standard (were old, over used and multi colored). Overall room 3/10 whereas other outdoor facilities 8/10

Quantity not quality and wrong info
Was not so good specially the food is based on quantity not quality due to the huge number of people there are alot of options but the quality is very bad considering the price in addition it was very much disappointing to not find availability to book restaurants although from 6:30 to 10:30 we were just walking around and the capacity of the same restaurants which where supposed to be full had soo many empty tables all out through the night. Apparently we lost trust.

All our food is always high quality with fresh and tasteful ingredients prepared at every restaurant for every meal, and is highly complimented by our guests. It is sad that you were not in the same opinion. Besides, All our a la carte restaurants are purely subject to availability and not guaranteed to any of our guests and this by the way is clearly mentioned in our welcome letters as well as hotel reservation confirmation. Each of those restaurants has a kitchen capacity of 100-120 people. Only because you have noticed empty tables this does not mean that we are not fully booked. As mentioned above we consider the kitchen capacity. However, our records are showing us that you have not approached any of our team members in regards to any of your concerns.
