Nice apartment, unfortunately located in a somewhat boring area. But bus and train very close. No sunbeds by the pool, only normal folding chairs. We missed an open balcony.

Un appartement très spacieux et très bien agencé/équipé. Une belle piscine bien exposée et propre. Un environnement très calme dans un quartier avec des gens sympathiques. Bonne pizzeria et boulangerie tout proches. Chaises pliantes un bonus bien appreciable pour la plage et la piscine. Gérant très aimable et disponible. On recommande.

Great location for getting around.
Spacious airy apartment in modern building. Easy access through back doors for relative with mobility issues, this is also closer to tram station. Apartment is well furnished with efficient central heating which was necessary in February. There are several restaurants within short walking distance which was a bonus as the town centre is approx 30 minutes walk away.

Appartement agréable proche plage transports ville. Heure d arrivée et de départ modulable. Bien équipé. Bémol: belle piscine mais trop ombragée / 2 lits jumeaux grincent au moindre mouvement. Les 75 euros de ménage ne sont pas optionnel mais dûs à l arrivée et en espèce.

Short family break
All round excellent property, well stocked kitchen with every day essentials. Very clean property with lovely pool although extremely cold as only gets sun part of the day. Our only issue was hot water was an issue for 4 adults and two children showering, water runs cold very quickly which was a problem

A rainy time in Alicante
When we arrived at this building we were surprised that the neighborhood was disappointing. We knew we’d be near the beach but didn’t know it was a long walk through a shady neighborhood to get there.

Die Lage der Wohnung war für uns Top (nähe Einkaufszentrum, Strand +Familie)
Die Wohnung ist sehr schön (Grundriss, Möbel, Dekoration). Der Pool und der Spielplatz ist ein Paradies für jedes Kind. Zudem verfügt die Überbauung einen tollen Abwart der immer alles Sauber hält und in der Not sogar einem hilft. Über die Sauberkeit der Wohnung möchte ich mich nicht äussern, den die tolle und freundliche Verwalterin (Megan) weis an was es fehlte. Wir werden gerne diese Wohnung wieder mal buchen. Muy buenas vacaciones
El apartamento es estupendo, tal como está en la publicidad de Vrbo, muy cerca del centro de Alicante y del puerto deportivo, de 10 a 15 minutos andando, también muy cerca de la playa del Postiguet, a 30 metros esta la parada del tranvía que te lleva en 20 minutos a la gran playa de San Juan; justo al lado el castillo de Santa Bárbara, en fin, todo lo necesario para pasar unas muy buenas vacaciones.

Great location, Stunning Apartment, Everything we needed!
The apartment was fantastic. 10 minute walk to the beach, 20 minute walk into town, 10 minute walk to the supermarket. Lovely views, spacious rooms and everything we needed. Fab communication with the host and we all had a very comfortable stay. Perfect for families. Thank you again!

Great property and location
The apartment was bright and very close to the beach, the shopping mall and grocery store which made it very convenient to get everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to have a relaxing stay. The property manager was very helpful and responded immediately to any questions we had and she provided any information we needed quickly. Thank you Megan for making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Calm and neat flat with good facilities
The flat and the house were very neat and had good facilities. Access from the airport was easy as the shuttle bus (C6) stops within couple of hundred metres from the house. The view from the windows and the main balcony were also very pretty. The supermarket was close by as were the tram station and archeological museum. We enjoyed our whole stay and the beach nearby. Communication with the hostess was also very easy and she was helpful in every step.

Lovely apartment.
The apartment is spacious and well equipped and close to the Marq Castillo tram station. A microwave would have been useful, but everything else we could need was there (except maybe an umbrella!) Beds were comfortable. Communication with Megan was excellent. The pool area is clean and a good place to sunbathe until the sun goes off it mid afternoon. We were very comfortable there and would recommend it to others.

Lovely, spacious flat as described.
The apartment was easy to find and Megan was there to greet us with helpful advice. It was very clean apart from dust under sofas. The kitchen was well equipped with all you need to self cater. We liked the neighbourhood with shops, bars and restaurants nearby. We had a lovely stay and would return. Our only observation is that both shower heads need replacing, but not bad enough to bother Megan with. Thank you for a great stay.

I think the problem with the shower heads is only that they´re blocked because of the calcium contained in the water in Alicante, we have frequently problems with showers, water boilers ,washing machines, and every appliance used with hot water. I´ll clear them up with vinegar which eliminates calcium very easily. Tku &Kind regards, Megan

Lovely property close to the beach
Good location. Lovely large living room space with flat screen TV. We loved the fact that there was a shopping trolley, shopping bags, boxes to put your lunch in, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, a cool bag. Supermarket only a 10ish minute walk away. Beach 5 mins away. We enjoyed the two sun rooms. The one at the front is best in the morning and the one at the back at night.

Séjour au top !
Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans cet appartement, calme,propre, spacieux, très clair et meublé avec goût. Rien ne manque pour se sentir comme chez soi. il est très proche du Centre Plaza Mar 2 pour faire les courses, du centre historique et de la plage de Postiguet ce qui est pratique, pas besoin de voiture. Très bien desservit par les transports en commun également : le bus C6 direct de l'aéroport arrêt "Vazquez de Mella", les principales lignes de tramway 1,2,3,4 station "MARQ-Castillo" (permettant notamment d'accéder aux plages de San Juan, Campello, Benidorm) et des arrêts de bus sont très proches de la location. Bons restaurants dans la rue, notamment la Gamba Blanca, qui propose de délicieux riz et tapas. Très bon contact avec Megan, très réactive avant et pendant le séjour. Nous recommandons chaudement cette location, et n'hésiterons pas à y retourner dès que nous en aurons l'occasion.

It was a Wonderful Unit
We rented and stayed in the unit for two months (August & September) 1. Hot water is suitable. 2. Water pressure is fantastic. 3. Location is marvelous. 4. Views are good to the Mediterranean and to the neighborhood. Not right on the water but water views. 5. Plenty of good restaurants in the neighborhood as well as within only 1 mile walking. 6. Alicante is a wonderful city with outstanding and kind people. 7. Neighborhood small shops are friendly. 8. Small shop and large markets very close to unit which makes it easy to get what one might need. 9. Unit is fully equipped with what an average couple might need. This even includes beach towels and the rolling cart for shopping. We bought our own beach umbrellas. 10. Air conditioner works well. (Not for HomeAway but since we are from Florida, we are use to heat and do not require colder temperatures.). 11. Washing machine is in the unit. Very much a plus being near the beach. 12. Unit very close to transportation for easy visits of other beaches such as San Juan and Benidorm. 13. Furniture in the unit is suitable especially for us as a couple. 14. Unit building has a well kept swimming pool. 15. Unit is very close to the Postiget beach. 16. Organic store with vegetables and fruits within feet of the unit and the nearby large supermarket has an organic and gluten free section. 17. Wi-Fi is included and works very well. 18. The beds were comfortable. 19. Unit has suitable storage. 20. Building and neighborhood was quiet but yet “active.” 21. The unit is equipped with a dishwasher. We did not use it. There was just two of us and we did not accumulate enough dishes fast enough to justify its use. 22. Most importantly, the contact Megan (Margarita) was fantastic before and during our stay. She pursued ensuring all was in order and any needed repairs quickly resolved. Cons: We rented for August and September. The blind in the Master bedroom was broken and because August is vacation time, it took until September 18th to repair so for quite a while we did not have the wonderful view or natural light in the bedroom. In the beginning of September there was a very lot of construction around the pool area and the back parking area. Pool was not usable but we did not mind because we preferred the beautiful beach and because everything was so close did not have a car. Therefore neither thing was a major bother other than the mess areas that construction causes.

Well located for Beach, shops and city
Large 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a good-sized swimming pool next to Hotel Maya Alicante. Convenient bus stop outside (02 bus) or tram station (MARQ - Castillo) 220 metres from the bus stop taking you to town centre (about 1.2 to 1.5km), or tram to coastal resorts including Benidorm (about 6 euros on tram). Single ticket takes you on one trip to anywhere on the route through Alicante and up to El Campello on the tram. Multi-journey tickets can be bought from TAM shop at top of Rambla Mendez Nunes (initial cost 2 Euros with top-ups of 10, 20 or 30 at 8.70 euros per 10 journeys available). Single ticket prices around 1.45 Euros if you just want to pay on the bus or tram. Multi-journey tickets can be used for more than one person by swiping for each person. The ticket machine shows the number remaining on the ticket. Northern end of Postiguet Beach is about 500m from front gates but Google does not show directions properly for pedestrians. Google takes you to south end of Postiguet beach and along promenade which more than doubles the apparent distance. Santa Barbara Castle is definitely worth a visit with magnificent views of the city and the beach. It is free to visit if you walk up there or 2.70 Euros via lift halfway along Postiguet beach (free for over-65s) and free to descend via lift. Large shopping centre Plaza Mar 2 with large well-priced hypermarket Al Campo is nearby. Most of smaller shops and hypermarket are closed on Sundays but the food court including McDonalds and Taco Bell are open on Sundays. Quickest route is out the back gate of the apartments and across the road, then across Avenida de Denia and up the eastern road to the main car park and through that to the lower floor escalator. Owner of the apartment kindly provided a shopping trolley and cool bag. Loved our stay here and would go again if back in Alicante city.
