Ibwas disappointed in not being able to cancel one of the days I had booked for my stay, since our schedule changed. The property or expedia pushed the blame on the other. So i had to pay for a hotel room i didnt stay in. The room was good, it was a bit dated and needed remodeling, but was ok. Breakfast was not that great, instant coffee, microvave cheese omelets and other items. Not a very food selection.

Staff is always incredible and friendly! Housekeeping does an amazing job preparing the room and keeping it tidy! One of the best spots in the area to stay!

The pool was low and the hot tub had stuff in the bottom of it. Our room however, was very clean. The only thing we didn't care for was the pillows.

The check-in process was good and the man working the desk was pleasant. The part of the property that I experienced was rundown and in need of updating. Everything seemed to work in our room though.

It was obviously an older property that was updated. Our room was very nice but there were several soft spots on the floor. I was concerned that the floor could crack and give way. Overall the room and facilities were very nice and we enjoyed our time there.

Rooms were clean. Was not allowed to extend time to check out until noon which was a bummer. The pool room needs to be fixed, the windows in the extra seating area of the pool had a broken taped window.. the trim on those windows is falling off, buckling and showing mold.

Exactly what we needed
We had to travel to Alpena for a family element and after a four hour drive we needed a place to lay our heads for the night. We rolled in late in the evening and the front staff was incredibly nice and helpful. All of the staff was so kind during our stay. Perfect place for a hot shower and to lay your head for the night.
