Fijne locatie in het gezellige centrum van Mechelen. 10 minuten lopen van station Mechelen Nekkerspoel. Het Penthouse is ruim. Eenvoudige inrichting. Goed bed, ruime douche. Prima uitvalsbasis om Mechelen, Brussel en Antwerpen te bezoeken.

This property looks just like the pictures - modern and clean. It is located in the heart of the city - next to cafes, restaurants, stores and a short walk to the train. We used Vixx as a base while we traveled and explored Belgium. The city also had nice pubs and cafes that we really enjoyed!

It was amazing. Staff is very very helpful. Garage is oposite the hotel. Very clean and safe. Highly recomended! Close to the city centre and shops street.

Would like to have given a higher rating but the suite was not particularly clean and some "wear and tear" that needs fixing. Cleanliness: bathroom sink blocked by hair, hairs on floor, dirty mark on side table. Wear and tear: toilet roll loose, coffee stains on sofa, door paint scratches. On the positive side, the location is great, decor is nice and the automated check-in/out works well.

Great stay in centre of Mechelen. Lots of space, mini kitchen with everything you need, lots of storage space. Easy walking to the centre of town. Handy parking (covered) and only 5 minutes walk to the hotel

Worst service ever - reception Said open until 22 - arrived at 21h00 noone to be seen - hotel closed - noone replying on intercom noone reacting to doorbell noone replying to knocking - had to give up checking in and book another place - hotel still insisted on getting paid for the night despite being closed

Dear Kristina, We're very grateful for your feedbakc, but we really can't follow .. It's really strange that you didn't receive any help, because we are always reachable through phone (a hotel is always 24/7 reachable) At the front door, you'll find a white board with a direct number to call the hotel. Besides that, our phones are also connected to different phone, which means that you always can reach the hotel. You say that this is the worst service ever, but we were not able to give service because, according to you, you haven't been in the hotel. I'm really sorry that this all happened, but this is something really out of our hands .. Kind regards, Sally

We had a great stay. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The location was excellent. We loved the breakfast with freshly cooked bacon and eggs. The staff were always so friendly. Only downsides were the sofa bed my daughter slept on was not comfortable and when we showered, the water went everywhere on the floor as there was no glass or curtain to the shower.

The receptionist was very kind, the suites were very big and comfortable equiped. The hotel is situated very nice, near the centre of Mechelen.

Kom sent til hotellet, men blev alligevel modtaget af receptionist trods det faktum, at receptionen var lukket timer tidligere. Rigtig god service - VixX hotel kan varmt anbefales!

The suite was nice, spacious and very clean. Furthermore the service and breakfast in the morning were was great. They still have the personal attention for the customer, which is rare nowadays.

Great Location in Mechelen
Hotel staff was very helpful and professional. Our room/apartment was euro minimalist furnished quite nicely and very comfortable. The atmosphere and location of The Vixx Hotel was excellent, only a short walk to the Old City Square, shops and great restaurants.

Good points and bad points
This place is great if you need more space than a standard room. It should be described more as serviced apartments than a hotel though as there isn't always reception service. Therefore if there are any snags it can take a while to resolve. Breakfast is fine, cleanliness was ok though not so great under furniture etc... Very central for amenities but there is a building site next door where work starts early and the balcony overlooks this.

Dear, First of all, I would like to thank you for your feedback. I just want to add that our recepetion is staffed untill 10PM since we only have 8 Suites. The Suites are checked every day in order to deliver 'perfect' Suites. We will take into account your comments in order to improve our check list. As to the refurbishment of the appartments further in the street: the people over there do respect the working hours during the day, so it's strange that you have being confronted with noise.
