Never Book This Property
I was supposed to stay at this property on Friday 9/29/23. I tried contacting the Host on Tuesday 9/26/23, and asked if I could know how to access the property, where parking is located, and check-in instructions. The host did not contact me. On Friday morning, I tried calling and texting the Host to see if they can provide me this information again and the host did not contact me. The number of file for this host is missing a number, so you would never get in contact with them. The host never responded back to me and just refunded me for my stay. I appreciate the refund back, but highly suggest no one stays with this VRBO host.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.
This property owner should change his name to, "The Horrible Experience" because that is what dealing with him is. We rented this property three weeks before a planned trip and had communication with him (at least I think it's a him) a few times before our arrival date. We sent him a message at 7pm the night before our check-in and received a message back. At 10pm the same night (12 hours before we were scheduled to leave for our trip) we received notification that our booking was canceled. We were told the previous tenant left the property in a bad condition and it would not be available to us. The terms of the rental state that checkout time is 11am. So why did it take the property owner until 10pm to see the condition of the property and know we couldn't use it? Where was the message that we couldn't use the property at 7pm when I sent him a message then? This left my wife and I scurrying to find a suitable place to stay mere hours before we were scheduled to leave. Out of anger I sent "The Experience" a strongly worded message and received a response back calling me "Mrs." because "I want to be a lady so bad." Poor communication from beginning to end and a horrible experience all around. There are a LOT of great properties on VRBO. Look elsewhere and avoid this "Experience."

Host never gave check in information.
Host agreed and REASSURED me that I could change dates and it was manually done and when time came I never received check in directions. CALLED VRBO who told me that the host allowed someone else to book on my dates they promised. VRBO then would not Help me get money back or hold their host accountable for not holding up to their end of the deal and promises that they manually changed my dates.

pleasantly surprised
The communication with the property manager is great, upon arrival we were greeted by Miss Rhonda in the lobby. She went out of her way to show us the latch app for all the entry doors and showed us to our room as well as answered any questions. The building is very nice with secure parking underneath which is welcomed. The room was just as described with all amenities included, the air conditioning worked extremely well especially since it is late July. This location is perfect for all the local attractions. The Poe house is basically behind the building, the aquarium and the B&O museum are 10 min away. The zoo and museum of art are 15 min. We plan to visit again and this location is defiantly were we plan to stay.

NEVER AGAIN
FIRST OFF WE DIDN'T GET TO LEAVE WHEN WE WANTED TO. HOST APPARENTLY SENT LATCH TO MY SISTERS EMAIL INSTEAD OF THE ONE THAT WAS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ACCOUNT. WHEN WE GOT THERE IT WAS JUST ONE ROOM. I THOUGHT THE BEDROOM WAS SEPARATE. IT SAID IT ACCOMODATES 4 PEOPLE. THE TABLE TO EAT AT ONLY HAD 2 CHAIRS. THERE WAS 2 TOWELS IN BATHROOM FOR 3 PEOPLE. THE ONE BED A COT WAS SO HARD AND DIDNT HAVE ANY SHEET OR PILLOWS. DID YOU EVER TRY TO SLEEP ON A LOVE SEAT, TV YOU COULDN'T GET ANY GOOD CHANNELS AND WE DID NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE POOL OF WHICH WE WERE SUPPOSE TO. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE UNLESS THERE ARE ONLY 2 PEOPLE. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

Great location and Price
My friend and I stayed at this property during the International Poe Festival and it was wonderful. The owner was responsive and it was a very clean unit. Also, the location uses the Latch app and has someone in the lobby for security. Highly recommend this property.
