I liked that it was close to the gondola and the rooms were big and airy with plenty of hot water. I thought it was good value. I liked some of the staff, especially one of the waitresses with long brown curly hair and the barman and Ibrahim on reception,.
Some of the others were deliberately rude and unhelpful. There seemed to be no manager, or no effective manager. Who lets staff smoke in the kitchen? Why does the bar not open earlier to serve proper coffee when the coffee at breakfast is instant? Why was all the food so over cooked? Why does no one seem to take pride in the hotel and in being Bulgarian?
