The beds were the most comfortable beds I've slept in that were not my own. The pillows were very comfortable, too. The breakfast was delicious, the coffee was ample!

This was my second stay st this property. I enjoy the location right of the interstate. There are also several options for dining near the property.

No elevators and have to haul all of you luggage up up all the stairs. The doors to the hallways are unlocked, literally anyone can walk onto the property and up to your room. One of those hallway doors was broken and all night long you hear people banging on the door trying to get in, almost brought me to tears at 4am from lack of sleep due to that noise. I had to walk through 3 separate buildings to find an ice machine that works. Horrible stay I would never come back and don’t recommend people go here unless you enjoy paying hotel prices for a crappy motel.

Horrible
This was a horrible stay. First off the hotel made myself and about 15 other guest wait until exactly 4 o’clock to check in. Reason stated due to housekeeping. We got checked in and proceeded to our room 140C . Walking in to the building we noticed filth and trash everywhere. Wallpaper peeling off in the hallway. Get to our room. The number looked as if it had been blowtorched the room next to us had a the room number drawn on with a sharpie. Open the door it was not what the pictures show online. Light fixtures missing, cabinet doors hanging on by a thread. Sheetrock repairs with no paint, ants and termites eating away at the walls. Got to the bedroom. Beds are made without any blankets. No towels in bathroom. I proceeded to the front desk, asked for some towels and if the room comes with a comforter, blanket, quilt? He responded yes. So I tell him nothing was in our room. He said he didn’t have any to give us, then says let go on a field trip. I say let’s go. Went to the room across from ours and we go in to steal the blankets from that room. Well no blankets in that room either. So he gives us 2 extra sheets for our solution. 39 degrees outside and the heater sounded like a helicopter lifting off. Go down to front desk at 7 am and ask for day manager and tell her of the condition of the room. I’m told that most of the blankets were stolen 2 weeks ago and that they are on order. No refund or credit offered. I was told I’d have to take it up with Hotels.com. Never again!!!

Dirty hotel
Check in was easy, very high deposit, we happened to come in when another guest was getting switched to another room because theirs was dirty. We got to our building and the main door had a ziptie on it to keep it unlocked so i didnt feel very safe just anyone can walk in without a room key. Got to our room and noticed the end table and the dresser were very beat up and old looking, saw a few baby cockroaches, there was mold around the mirror in the bathroom, bathtub was not clean at all, a/c unit in the room was extremely loud. Woke me up 3 times during the night. Room was very outdated compared to other hotels ive stayed in at a similar price point. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE

Property was quiet clean and nice. Breakfast was better than expected. Biscuits, sausage, eggs, and hash browns. Rooms only cleaned every four days and we only had two towels for four guests. We would stay again.

When I went to check in the front desk person tells me they require an additional $200 for incidentals. I informed him that nothing was mentioned about this and that i didn't have another $200 nor did I have anywhere else to stay. He made a phone call then reiterated that I would not be checked in without paying the $200. He then told me that Expedia would be responsible for my refund. I was basically left on the street for the night. That's a scam!

Made it through the night
The entrance was very nice but my room was not. The bed had hairs in it. I Lysol the room and bed multiple times and since it was one night we stayed in the room. The AC unit ran louder than my car. Zoned it out as best as possible. Im sorry but I could not recommend to any of my friends.

Decent place to stay with friendly staff
The pros- the staff was friendly and helpful, my suite was spacious, and the onsite breakfast was nice. The location was very convenient to restaurants and LSU. There was also sufficient parking. The cons- my room did not have any extra pillows or blankets, and the blanket on the bed was very thin (I ended up folding over the sheet and blanket to provide a bit more cover). My shower handle was tricky to work, as the water would turn off after turning the handle a certain point (vs. shower handles that rotate cold to hot and stop at the hottest point). The hotel is quite dated. With some updating and repairs, it could be much nicer. Overall, I'd give it a 7/10- the location is convenient, and my suite was spacious, but the rooms need some updating and TLC.

The room was absolutely terrible! Dirty, bad smell and multiple things not working/broken: kitchen sink, TV, broken kitchen cabinet doors barely hanging on, one small bar of soap for 3 people for 3 days, refrigerator smelled bad, coffee maker broken, nasty carpet, and just overall dirty room

One night was too long
My stay was simply to get some sleep & get up the next morning & finish my travels. I’ll be visiting the area quite a bit as my daughter is a freshman at LSU & wanted to know if this hotel could be a home away from home. Sadly, it won’t be on the list as an option as the room seemed outdated. I was hit by the strong smell of mold. The carpet has been there since the hotel was built. I could see the attempts at updating but there needs to be some real revamping done. The bathroom light was dingy & I was too afraid to look closer to see just how long it had been cleaned out. All of this created a very uncomfortable stay. After a day of traveling & 2 delayed flights, an hour drive from the airport, all I wanted was a shower & a good nights sleep. Instead I was grossed out by the smell & found myself spraying body spray (all I had for air freshener) around the room & on the beds as I did not want that smell getting into my clothes. The lady that checked me in was great. She was very welcoming & the check in process was smooth & quick.
