Non è il genere di hotel che mi aspettavo sebbene sia in una posizione centrale , ha molti lati negativi , le stanze sono realmente vintage non c'è la TV non ci sono prodotti per l bagno, nonostante abbiamo pagato una cifra molto elevata..colazione scadente .A mio parere non lo consiglio .

Reise in die Vergangenheit
Eine Unterkunft, die sich an Reisende richtet, die gerne in den Glanz vergangener Zeiten eintauchen. Das kleine Hotel ist in zwei zusammengelegten Altbauwohnungen an bester Lage in Berlin. Die Zimmer sind sehr individuell - mit allen Vor- & Nachteilen. Wenn man Glück hat, wird einem ein sehr prachtvolles Zimmer zugeteilt, mit weniger Glück dann halt eine eher bescheidene Loge. Weil das Hotel sehr klein ist, herrscht eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre. Das Hotel bietet einem keinen opulenten Rund-um-die-Uhr-Service - dafür eine einigermassen authentische Reise in die Vergangenheit. Das Fehlen von TV und Radio trägt zur Entschleunigung bei (sofern man nicht aufs WLAN ausweicht...)

Funk får dig att fundera på tidens vingslag
Funk ligger i ett tryggt och säkert område precis intill Kudamm. Huset är gammalt och har en helt underbar charm. Möbler och inredning är från en annan tid. Det knarrar från golven och allt känns personligt. Personalen är personlig och bemödar sig för att du ska ha det bra. Frukosten är enkel men serveras i ett helt fantastiskt rum som får gästerna att tänka på annat. Parkering precis runt hörnet.

The property is charming, staff is knowledgeable and very helpful, breakfast was excellent and good variety of items, hotel is located in a very nice area of Berlin and close to transportation. Enjoyed my stay very much.

My friend and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and it was perfect! The facade of the building is beautiful and the street is in a great location, there is an underground station not even a 5 min walk away and an S-bahn about 10 mins away. The area is full of really lovely buildings and shops so we really didn't mind the walk at all. We found the area to be quite safe as well, it remained lively at night so it wasn't isolated and you have to have a key to the hotel in order to actually get inside the building which was very reassuring for 2 young women! We had a great room with a bathroom and had no problems at all in this regard. We didn't try the breakfast but it was a reasonable €6 a day. The only thing I would say is that there was no safe in the hotel room but the requirement for a key to get in the building gave us peace of mind. Also my friend found it a bit rowdy at night time, but I'm a heavy sleeper and can't say I share this complaint. If you're looking for something quirky in a good spot then this is the place for you! Thanks

Skønt sted på fasanen Straße med meget atmosfære og god service! Et stort plus var også at have litteraturhuset liggende lige over gaden, hvor man spiser god mad og får fantastisk betjening, åben til midnat!!

När jag hittade Pension Funk på nätet var det ett givet val av hotell. Jag älskar dess gamla charm och historia. Helt ok frukost. Bra pris. Jättebra läge. Mycket fina gamla originaldetaljer som ger hotellet dess charm. Takhöjd ca 4 meter.

Sehr happig und insgesamt unschön
Absolut überteuert für die Verhältnisse: kein TV im Zimmer, ein unheimliches Telefon mit Wählscheibe, ein Minibad (oder gar Bequemlichkeiten auf dem Flur), und noch ältere Möbel gibt's einfach nicht! Man muss auch eine ziemlich steile Treppe hochklettern, der Aufzug geht ab dem 1. Stock. Am meisten hat mich das Frühstück gestört: wie unzureichend das Angebot war und wie spät es los ging: erst ab 7:30 h. Wenn man früh Termine hat, ist das gerade in Berlin ein Problem. Sonst war es ziemlich sauber, aber alles nicht auf dem heutigen Standart. Wenn es sehr günstig wäre, könnte man es sich überlegen, sonst geht es nun mal gar nicht! Das einzige: die Lage ist wirklich gut.

Das zimmer sollte nicht nebender waschküche sein.man solle hilfe bekommen die schweren treppen hinauf mit dem gepäck. Sonst wars schön.freundlich.frühstücksraum war ok.lage war nähe der u bahn .

Achtung kein Fernseher
hatte zwar budget ( Gemeinschafts-Bad und Toilette aber nirgendwo war angegeben, dass es keinen Fernseher gab. Das Mobiliar wird als authentisch Gründerzeit beschrieben, ichwürde das aber eher Sperrmüll-geeignet empfinden. Zimmer war wohl früher Abstell- bzw. Wäschekammer in einem hochherrschaftlichen Gründerzeithaus. Geworben wird damit, dass die Wohnung (beletage) von dem Stummfilmstar Asta Nielsen bewohnt wurde. Frühstück verhältnismäßig ordentlich im ehemaligen Salon. Lobenswert die Freundlichkeit in Reception und Frühstücksraum

Nice Pension, old style Berlin.
This is actually a nice Pension. Only the rooms with no bathroom are tiny. This is ok for one night but I would order another room for a longer stay. The location is great and the stiff very friendly. If you look for a cheap traditional Berlin experience you will not be disappointed.

il faisait super froid, chauffage moyen, chambre complétement surannée. les seuls points positifs sont l'emplacement et le wifi mais aujourd'hui il y a partout le wifi. Petit déjeuner très moyen, le pain brioché à peine décongelé. Personnel sympa

The hotel was solid on atmosphere, with high ceilings, large windows, and period furniture. It was not so solid on comforts like a shower big enough to move about easily or a meaningful breakfast.

Romantiskt och gammaldags hotell
Fantastiskt och romantiskt hotell som ligger mycket bra med nära till shopping och mat. Det var dessutom väldigt trevligt frukostrum med god frukost. Kommer definitivt tillbaka!

건물 내부가 굉장히 오래되어서 캐리어 끌고 올라가기 불편합니다. 엘리베이터가 한층 올라가야 있고 그마저도 열쇠 있어야 됩니다. 화장실/욕실 분리형 방을 썼는데 낡아서 바닥이 끼익거리다보니 밤에 신경써서 다녀야 되는것도 불편합니다. 낡아서 고풍스런 분위기는 있어요. 열쇠 사용 방법은 꼭 주인 앞에서 직접 해보세요. 리셉션 친절하고 와이파이 잘되고 깨끗한 편입니다. 하루 이틀 저렴하게 조식 포함 1인실 필요하면 있을만 합니다. 쿠담 지역이라 쇼핑 편해요.

Bo i ett stumfilmsmuseum nära Kurfürstendamm
Danska stumfilmsskådespelerskan bodde i denna paradvåning 1931-37 som nu är hotell/pensionat. Asta märks. Det går inte att undgå henne. Foton och affischer på henne finns i varje hörn. Stundtals kändes det som att bo i ett stumfilmsmuseum. Intressant för den som gillar att få en känsla för svunnen filmhistoria, kanske lite mer apart och för mycket "gammelmormor-feeling" för den yngre generationen. Det finns ett piano för den som önskar ”self-made” underhållning utanför matsalen. Från gatan där hotellet ligger har man nära till Kurfürstendamm och allsköns shopping och restauranger samt tunnelbanestationen Uhlandstrasse. Två stationer bort finns shoppingtemplet KaDeWe. Inte långt att kånka på shoppingkassar alltså. Föreståndaren är mycket vänlig och hjälpsam. Låt honom gärna förse dig med en flier från Karstadt så får du 10% rabatt på inköpen. Det fanns en riklig variation av frukostmat att lägga på tallriken. Mitt lilla rum saknade tv. Men jag hade bra wifi under hela vistelsen så det var inga problem att kolla tv uppkopplat. Hissen måste öppnas med nyckel så har du tung packning redan vid ankomsten är ett tips att springa upp en trappa och be hotellpersonalen att köra ner hissen så slipper du släpa. Som det anstår en bostad från 1800-talet så knarrar det hemtrevligt när man går i gångarna. För den som inte har något emot att dela toa/badrum eller historiska vingslag med Asta och önskar närhet till shoppingvimlet på Ku'Damm är detta ett utmärkt alternativ.

Trevligt och mysigt!
Jättemysigt hotell med riktigt bra frukost. Hotellet ligger i ett lite "finare" kvarter med dyra butiker och bra restauranger. Nära till underbahn! Minus är att det bara finns en toalett med dusch och en vanlig toalett på hela våningen. Vi hade dock aldrig problem med att det var upptaget.

Charmigt
Hela hotellet är inrymt i en före detta lägenhet och är synnerligen charmigt. Tyvärr var inte städningen i världsklass, en hel del främmande hår i duschen och liknande, men rummet var i övrigt trevligt. Vacker, lugn gata som ändå låg mycket nära restauranger och shopping på Kurfurstendamm.

Minimalismus im Asta-Nielsen-Flair
Ich habe diese Pension wegen ihrer Nähe zum Veranstaltungsort meines Seminars gewählt. Wirklich ein besonderes Ambiente, in der Wohnung eines Stummfilm-Stars zu wohnen. Da ich sonst in einem sehr modernen Hotel übernachte, war es ganz ungewohnt, auch weil ich ohne Bad und TV auskommen musste, was ich ja vorher wusste und kein Problem war. Ich hätte mir nur ein etwas größeres Zimmer gewünscht - dieses war extrem klein und eng. Das Frühstück fand ich prima und auch den Service des netten Angestellten.

Hotellet prisvärt, ligger i lungt område nära Kurfurstemdann. Bra frukost rent och snyggt. Hotellet är omodernt, men sängar ok. Vi sover endast på rummen, någon som vistas där mer önskade sig kanske en tv.

Hyggeligt hotel med atmosfære!
Dejligt hyggeligt hotel /pension. I lejligheden er der historiens vingesus da stumfilmstjernen Asta Nielsen har boet der! Der er ikke bad/toilet på alle værelser - men ude på gangen.

Positive "Time Travel" Experience
On my very recent 12 day (9/14-25/2015) first trip back to Germany in 24 years (I lived in W. Berlin 1971-73), Pension Funk was a good final pension/hotel experience. I had previously stayed at an easyHotel in Berlin, and an Ibis hotel in Dresden, which were good, well within my budget, etc., but decidedly modern, without any real individual character. Pension Funk was an interesting historical contrast, and reminded me of older days in Berlin -- Christopher Isherwood's pre-WW counter-cultural Berlin came to mind. I found the staff personable and quite helpful. I would recommend it to anyone interested in a more "funky" historical hotel/pension experience.

Nice location is the only plus
It is truly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life! The building is run down and filthy. The windows and furnitures are malfunctioning.The shower water and the head are all below standard for the price charged. I did read the reviews, for some reason only 10 positive reviews are posted. I was therefore misled. The bottom line : for anyone knows NYC, it is like one of those insanitary broken unsafe apartments in a tough neighborhood.

Super beliggenhed ved Kurfürstendam og ZOO
Super modtagelse og meget venlige receptionister. Vær opmærksom på, at Hotel-Pension Funk ligger på 1. sal og ingen elevator. Autentiske værelser og morgenmadsstue.
