Book for the view, stay for the house!
Gorgeous home with so much room! It would be nice if the fire pit came with instructions but I have no complaints about our stay. Host Brian was incredibly responsive as well.

Great Place
Loved the place. My only complaint was that before we arrived some animal had turned the trash can over and trash was spread in the yard. Not much the owner can do about that.

A lot of little things that add up
This property was overall fine for what we needed. However, the doors were locked and the communication to locate the lockboxes and get in were subpar. The cleanliness was lacking, stains and general grime throughout. There were unfinished patch jobs throughout the house walls. Would be a perfect property if these items were addressed.

Sisters Retreat
My sisters and I had a great visit at this lovely rental. The peace and quiet of the area was a treat. Coffee on the deck watching the sunrise and listenings to the birds was delightful. We were there to relax and not do a whole lot of cooking. It is a beautiful kitchen, but not with many cooking and baking items that I would consider make a gourmet kitchen, however I imagine most vacationers don’t do a lot of cooking. There were the basics, though. Restaurants and grocery store are just minutes away in Black Mountain The option for the s’mores around the fire was a special bonus. Would definitely recommend this for a relaxing vacation.

Great house
Great house with lots of room. Host was easily accessible. If you are planning on cooking, pots and pans were limited but the description does say basic kitchen. :) I would stay there again! Loved it!

Girls Weekend
Awesome views, very relaxing..loved seeing wild turkeys every morning and was blessed to see an amazing rainbow against the mountain. Accommodation were great, very welcoming. Two huge bedrooms and one small which worked well for us. Close to Black Mountain and easy access to Asheville. Pepperoni’s Pizza was close by for pizza at the house. Black Mountain restaurants we enjoyed and recommend; Black Bear Tavern, Blue Ridge Biscuit Co and Louise’s Kitchen. CW Moose was a favorite shopping place in Black Mountain.

Nice long weekend
We had a wonderful stay, after you all made it right! When we arrived the house had not been cleaned, but you sent someone right up and he cleaned it so well, while we were out eating dinner. You also refunded us for this problem, for which we are so grateful. We would definitely stay again!
