So close and so far away
The location is close to everything yet very secluded and relaxing. We stayed for graduation weekend at Bloomsburg University and truly enjoyed out stay. The host was very responsive and the upon arriving everything was well prepared and ready for our stay. I would stay at this property again and will recommend it to others staying in the area.

Drove up, parked the car and hung out in nature until it was time to go
We wanted a break from the city and we really enjoyed this house. We spent lots of time on the upper deck listening to the birds. The view is great. The mowed paths are many and great to walk around on - well marked too. The tree farm is cool to see. It’s a well designed little spot with nice touches of style. Very clean, comfy bed, pillows and sheets, lots of blankets too! We played the in-house guitar and the cajon drum as well. Fun time!

Fantastic stay in Bloomsburg
The communication from Chris was very thorough. Before we arrived, we were given very detailed instructions on how to navigate the property along with his contact information. The place was exactly as beautiful as it was described in the listing. Fire tower is surrounded by nature and we felt isolated but also, it’s just a short drive to get into downtown Bloomsburg. Waking up to the sunrise was our favorite part. We will definitely be back to stay at Fire Tower in the future!!

Good times
Overall, I enjoyed my time without significant disturbance. However, I did notice quads on the property and someone walking their dog a few feet from the house, which slightly disrupted my desire for absolute privacy and disconnect. Nonetheless, clear instructions for access and operation of amenities made for a hassle-free experience without the need to contact anyone.

Favorite house we’ve ever rented
Our stay here was absolutely perfect to celebrate 10 years together! The house was even better than the photos and super clean. The host was very nice and replied quickly when we had questions. Beautiful property to explore. Would LOVE to come back in another time of year! Only con we found is that locking the door at night only consists of a chain lock (which is very easily unlockable from the outside) but we brought a portable door lock we had to feel more safe & comfortable. However, the farm is very private and I’m sure safe but I am a worrier lol the pros deff out weighed the one con though.

Peacefull Anniversary in the Woodland
Always looking for unique places to stay for our anniversary, the beautiful Firetower offered georgous views and a sense of being alone in the wilderness. We enjoyed the adventure of driving the gravel road up the hill (our Toyota Prius handled it no problem) and were glad that the weather was good for our early November stay. We are fortunate at age 70, to still be nimble enough to climb the stairs to the 2nd level bedroom and the wrap-around deck. We enjoyed hiking the property, exploring Bloomsburg, spent a couple amazing hours at Bill's Old Bike Barn, and enjoyed driving by Knobles and dreaming of returning again on warm summer days. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Secluded Getaway, Great Location
Firetower was exactly as described and depicted in the photos. It is a hidden gem secluded on a beautiful property, yet is only 5 minutes from downtown Bloomsburg if you need any essentials. Communication from Chris was proactive in advance and very helpful. Our stay was only 2 days, but it was just what we had in mind for our Wedding anniversary. Highly recommend a trip to Ricketts Glen State Park to see the waterfalls, which was only a ~35 minute drive from Firetower. We certainly have intentions of returning to Firetower again in the future and have already started mapping out our return trip.

Beautiful Chalet and Views
Private and secluded with only a small distance to downtown Bloomsburg. The bridge and sitting area was super neat. Loved the second floor area. Great views. The kitchen had everything we needed (pots, pans, silverware, plates, bowls, etc). Hammock, fire pit, and swinging chair outside was a plus. We walked the property for a quiet stroll. The only downfall, which is expected outdoors in the woods. Lots of mosquitoes. Definitely pack repellent. Will be planning a future visit here or the other Tower!!

Hideaway
The house is on a beautiful piece of property. Very secluded yet you are only a mile from downtown Bloomsburg. Also, only a short ride to Ricketts Glen, which I highly recommend going to.

Thank you and yes that is why we fell in love with this place because its close proximity to everything. Ricketts Glen is a must do hike. Best in the state in my opinion.

Relaxing!
The house was a great time! The home was clean, cozy, and very private. My negative take away is that the downstairs main door does not have a lock and the second floor is surrounded by windows which have a beautiful view but would also be nice to have either curtains or blinds to use if wanted while sleeping.

Amazing!
The location is awesome! Extremely private! The fire tower is beautiful, clean, cozy and quiet! We saw the snow our first morning drinking coffee in her and saw the sunrise the second morning! The views are awesome! The owner is quick to respond to any questions. Close to town- witching 10 minutes of all the restraints and shops we went to.

Weekend getaway!
We had a very nice weekend away celebrating our wedding anniversary. The firetower was beautiful. We hiked around the property and enjoyed the convenience of downtown Bloomsburg.

Weekend Getaway
Found the property to be secluded and quiet until early Sunday morning, chainsaws and trucks/4 wheelers, not too bad, but would have been better had they waited until checkout. Need to label the electrical switches, many we could not figure out what they operated, better spot lights to light the immediate property, for those that get nervous at night in the woods, like my wife. Left two bundles of wood under the porch, so others have somewhat dry wood to burn, with all those trees, I would have hoped to have dry wood to burn. had to buy firewood. Other than that, comfortable, cozy and quiet. Views from the second deck amazing. Nice to have a TV and WiFi for late evening. Recliner could be improved upon but it worked. Kitchen was nicely furnished and appliances new and nice. Bathroom clean and comfortable. Will schedule again.

Glad you got to finally stay in the firetower. Thanks for the review and feedback. Yes this is the busy month as we are an active tree farm which people love checking out the operations. There are 8 sets of spot lights and its pretty intimidating with all the switches. There is always dry wood down near the barn under roof $5 per large bundle from local farmer. Yes the views certainly make this stay memorable. See you all soon. Chris

This property was exactly as pictured. The Firetower was very nicely kept, inside and outside. Very secluded. Sunrise was awesome. Wine on the top deck, beautiful fire pit. Trails easily available. Beautiful place. We'd happily come back.

Just what we were looking for!
It was our second stay at the Fire Tower so we knew what to expect. We had a wonderful and relaxing visit after a football weekend at Bloomsburg University. Chris let us drop off our extra food on the way to our tailgate spot and we enjoyed an active visit in the area.

Beautiful cabin and location
We had a really great weekend. The property was beautiful as expected. It is surprising how remote it seems, yet it's just outside of Bloomsburg. It's nice to have grocery stores so close. Would highly recommend staying here.

amazing location, owners were very sweet and helpful. lots of wildlife (deer, squirrels, opossums) havent seen so many fireflys and stars in so long! property is unique and felt like a glamping treehouse!

Glad you loved the location. The wildlife is my favorite part of the property. You never know what you may see next. Pennsylvania wildlife has lots to offer from deer, turkey, bear, bobcats and fox. Glamping tree house love the description.

Best place to stay!
My husband and I stayed here after our wedding. The instructions were clear so we found the property no problem. We absolutely loved staying here! We wished it would of been longer and definitely want to return. Everything was cleaned and ready. We had no problems during our stay. Being able to stay there was some of the best relaxing time we ever had. Not to mention the view was great! The convenience of having privacy but being minutes from town went a long way for us. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful property!

You keep a beautiful place. Quiet, comfortable, peaceful, loved the place. Unfortunately I had a very bad time with my pain. My health issues act up when they want to. I didn't get to see much or build a fire or walk a bit. I was bummed 😓 couldn't walk. Darn!! I would definitely come back!! Thank you for sharing your place!!!

This was a great weekend away! The property is beautiful and secluded, while being very close to all amenities. The house was clean and comfortable. The morning appearance of deer and turkeys was also a pleasant surprise. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for that quiet getaway with all the modern conveniences.

Seclusion is why we love this place. So glad you got to see the wildlife. This year has been extremely busy with deer turkey and bear. We love to see them as well.

Great getaway!
We had an amazing time at the Firetower! The sunrise was a highlight. The house was amazing and even better than the pictures. Chris was friendly and it was great to meet him! The property was fun to explore and we enjoyed spending time in the town for dinner and ice cream. It was close to Ricketts Glen too- which was quite a sight- even in the snow! Can’t wait to come back again!

The Perfect Getaway
The place completely lived up to its description. We celebrated our 26th anniversary by being here and being able to unwind and relax. The host was almost immediate in his response to any questions and everything was as described.

The trails are many of the 70 acres. My Dad tries to keep them tidy for hiking.

Incredible stay. 5+ stars, we can’t wait to book our next stay at the Firetower. Perfect stay with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. The property was secluded yet within a 5 minute drive you had the conveniences of town with lots of dining options. My husband commented on the beauty of the property at least 100 times. The wildlife, scenic views, plenty of walking trails and camp fires at night made our stay so enjoyable. The Firetower itself was cozy, clean, beautifully designed with all the amenities needed for our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Stick to left of white barn
The property is beautiful. We really admired the detailed carpentry of the house and little details. The views were really great as well. The description of how to get to the property were more detailed on a different website, so I just wish I had seen that set of directions before arriving. We just didn't know to stick to the left of the white barn. I did text to let the owner know approximately when we would arrive- just so they would know our vehicle was really us, but never heard back. It is a real work of art, a very special place! Thank you for sharing it!
