Enjoyed the busy inlet waterway but the road noise & extreme volume levels of music blaring from boats going by was not truly relaxing. Construction across the way wasn't peaceful either. Hopefully a short term issue. Only one restaurant open at the property, Sea Spray, with limited offerings. Ate breakfast there which was good. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Hostess...not. Not friendly, no smile. I'd call her out by name but I won't! Broken shower faucet was not enjoyable on our first morning but fixed later in the following afternoon. Mislead that there was beach access. Yes, but it is by foot a 10 minute walk away. In 98 degrees, that's a long walk.

Old, musty, damp. Mold in bathroom. Dark spaces because there were not enough lights. Sofa bed was old, broken and leaning to the side. When I asked if the staff knew the bed was in this condition, I was told yes, with no further explanation or accommodation. An empty vodka bottle found in the room. The only place to eat was outside in the hot humid weather. Expensive self parking and additionally an expensive daily resort fee added to the already double city and double state tax. When I made comments to the front desk and even checked out a day early because of the issues, they simply said; sorry!

This property is overpriced. The property is under maintenance. I never saw the umbrellas and chairs at the beach that are supposed to be included with the hotel . The food super expensive and you need reservation for dinner , I can’t enjoy the view . The rooms service was fast but “ extra expense “. Yelina Miranda room 1007

Only stayed one night but the hotel and room was perfect. The dinner at the on site restaurant was delish! The views were impeccable!

Check in with Marvel was great. The room was better than our expectations and the view was AMAZING!! Our breakfast and parking were included with our stay which was perfect. The breakfast was delicious and every staff member was friendly and helpful.

Walked into major construction going on in the lobby, broken shower head and hallways in need of renovation. Over priced omelette came out wrong all 3 mornings. Lunch at the pool over an hour wait for food consistently. Great location though

The food at the restaurant was delicious and with it being on the river watching the boats creates a great atmosphere. Loved our stay there!

Overall nice hotel, walking distance to beach. Wonderful that you could borrow backpack beach chairs and umbrella. Also the restaurant was lovely to sit outside and have a bite or drink from the bar.

This property is listed as an upgraded hotel. This property has not been updated for it has to be 30 or 40 years. It is very dirty. I would not walk on the rug with bare feet. The bathroom and tile were missing caulking. The manager on duty Kendra was so aloof she was bordering on rude. Do not book a stay here

The room we stayed in had a great view! However, there was no soap bars or handsoap to wash our hands with, no liners in the trash, and ants all over the sink area. The shower smelled of mildew, and parking was atrocious as if you HAD to get Valet. For the price that was paid, things could have been a lot better.

Rooms are cheap looking. Desk chair was a crappy metal stacking chair, desk and dresser also pieces of junk. Room darkening shade very difficult to pull up and down. Gym is dirty and equipment old and not maintained. One of the tread mills has a ripped tread. Trash on the floor. I told the front desk it needed cleaning and two days later same trash still on the floor. Inadequate parking. Only good thing I can say is that the restaurant has good food and service. Also, chairs, umbrellas and towels available to take to beach which is an 8 minute walk away.

The property overlooks a noisy road which can be heard inside the rooms. Also poor sounds insulation between rooms.

All I asked was for a quiet room...Noisy Road
I asked the hotel for a quiet room shortly after I book - early morning flight/late arrival/only in the hotel to sleep...and they overbook hotel and put me in room facing a loud road – I asked for so little, just a quiet room - and Waterstone couldn't deliver this and therefore I got little sleep following nearly 24-hour travel day and then an all-day conference - really disappointing experience. The only redeeming part of the hotel was a hotel worker named George - his colleagues could learn a great deal from this individual's enthusiasm/friendliness - he is a great asset to the hotel. Nevertheless, the noisy room just made the entire hotel experience highly disappointing.

They call this a resort. It is the furthest thing from a resort that I can imagine. The hotel was filthy. Don’t waste your time or money.

Well the shower drain was plugged, the heater in are room didn't work, and the room smelled like burnt pot. When i told the manager he said I'll get someone on it. They came back and said shower was fixed and the heater was turned off. As for the smell he couldn't determine if it was are room or the one be t door.
