The location was very convenient, near the T and shops and Wollaston Beach nearby.
Parking was convenient with even some covered spaces. Breakfast was very good and the two women working the breakfast were responsive to requests and very kind to our 5-year old grandson.
We selected ‘pet friendly’ in our search filters as we had our 6-month old golden retriever puppy with us. We were SHOCKED to be charged $100 as a pet cleaning fee. We were told they have to do a ‘deep clean’ after a pet is in the room. I suspect this ‘deep clean’ simply involves washing all bedding and a twice-over with the vacuum and that the person doing the ‘deep clean’ receives no additional compensation. This seems to be an excessive fee!
We felt we had no choice but to accept the fee as we had already traveled so far and had plans with family.
Perhaps if Hotels.com had some type of ‘pop-up’ alert feature when people use a ‘pet friendly’ filter, we would have had the chance to consider another hotel.
