Hotel at nice location offering lots of activities
We stayed 2 nights at Cocoon La Rive. The receptionist Geoffrey gave us from the very first second a very warm welcome. He is very helpful and gives all support needed during our stay. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed also 2 dinners at the hotel restaurant. Everything was good. The older waiter was a little moody. Both breakfast and dinner were good. We enjoyed a great hike direct from the hotel. And played tennis and went to the sauna afterwards. Also hotel bar is nice, but opening hours could be somewhat longer though. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Cocoon. Once again great thank you to Geoffrey from Amsterdam.

Hey verblijf was super. Het eten was erg goed! De kamer had wel wat minpuntjes, schilderij hing op half elf. TV heeft geen smart TV functie, warm op de kamer zelfs met raam open.

A hidden jewel. My wife and I stayed there with another couple after a few days driving through France and Belgium. We were looking for a quiet place to recharge and stayed in individual two bedroom units with a balcony overlooking the river. The staff was friendly and accomodating to our needs, in particular the manager Olivier Bedon. Definitely plan to stay there again.

Sehr schöne ruhige Lage; und soweit ich das verfolgen konnte, war das wohl eine beliebte Gegend für Wanderer. Sehr netter Empfang durch einen Herrn an der Rezeption. Problemloser Check-In und Check-Out; auch sprachlich gab es kein Problem, da man mit mir auch Deutsch gesprochen hat. Das Frühstück war der absolute Hammer, da es hier so ziemlich alles gab, was man Frühstücken möchte.

Lovely spot
Great setting, very pretty location, excellent for walking. We had one of the lodges - good choice. Good parking. Friendly staff. Extensive breakfast range. Nice restaurant. If we went again, we would not choose half board because there was no choice and the main menu was excellent.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel en fantastisch eten. Kamer was prima, je komt er toch alleen om te slapen. Wij hadden half pension. Dat is een vastgesteld menu, dus geen keuze. Was heerlijk (hert, eend, zeebaars), alleen voor mensen met dieetwensen niet heel handig.

La location est idéale pour se reposer, la chambre confortable le petit déjeuner très copieux, le service restaurant correct, mais trop d'attente entre l'apero et les services successifs... Personnel très à l'écoute A recommander sans hésitation.

Extérieur exceptionnel intérieur vieillissant
L extérieur est vraiment impeccable et tres beau. L'hôtel en lui meme est plus vieillissant. ( pas de clim et odeur de refoulement dans la salle de bain..) je trouve le prix un peu excessif.

Bon hôtel. Les prix du restaurant sont un peu élevés pour une qualité et une quantité moyenne. Les meubles de la chambre étaient plutôt abimés. La TV ne pouvait pas être controlée puisqu'il n'y avait qu'une télécommande à 5 boutons (standby, 2x Volume et 2x changement de chaine). Hôtel correct et cadre très charmant.

Mooie cottage met bubbelbad en gratis parkeren. Helaas geen wifi op de kamer. Ontbijt wordt op de kamer bezorgd. Personeel van de keuken mag vriendelijker zijn. Extra brood gevraagd en hier gezeur over gekregen! Voor de rest een prima rustplek.

Beautiful location!
Beautiful location at the river bank, very relaxed atmosphere. Room has all amenities - not very big, but comfortable and with a wonderful view. Great place for a relaxing hiking stay.

Do not recommend
This place could be a returning one if they made guests feel at home. Most of the times I felt like I was an inconvenience, from checking in which I had to wait a long time while the receptionist ran around to a simple task as ordering a beer at the bar. Both guys the works the evening shift seemed very stressed on both days we were there. I stopped ordering drinks at their bar because of how they made me feel.. an inconvenience to them. Sorry but if you work in hospitality you should not feel and show stress as this makes guest uncomfortable. The place is poorly managed. The region is fantastic and I highly recommend choosing a better place, which I will next time.

Leuk hotel als je rust wenst
Mooi en rustig gelegen hotel, niet meer zo nieuw. Kamers zijn vrij klein en te vol, proper maar vernieuwing is gewenst. De formule kamer + ontbijt + diner is een aanrader, enkel jammer dat het zo lang duurt tussen de gangen. Tijdens het ontbijt werden de verplichte corona maatregelen van het dragen van een mondmasker vaak genegeerd, meestal door de oudere gasten. het personeel trad hiervoor niet op om de gasten terecht te wijzen.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, wir werden das im Sommer wiederholen da es jetzt nur geregnet hat. Nicht gefallen hat uns dass alles auf holländisch war, sogar Gebrauchsanweisung für Fernseher. Personal hat fast nur holländisch gesprochen :-(

I have been in many hotels,but here was the first one,where instead to say hallo they gave me a bill for some tax of 4 EUR, that that didn't know what is it for. Also it's suppose to be a 4 stars hotel but didn't find so many stars there...Just the place is beautiful

Sober hotel, maar de service is subliem. Zeer gastvrije ontvangst. Zowel spontane hulp als zeer behulpzaam wanneer je op zoek bent naar een lekker restaurant in de buurt, of toeristische info. Prima bed, heerlijk geslapen, en het ontbijt uitgebreide keuze met lekker vers fruit, yoghurt, beleg, granen, verschillende soorten brood, ,,, Buurt sober, 15 min stappen naar het centrum, of tramhalte vlakbij rechtstreeks naar het centrum Wel een aantal lekkere en gezellige restaurants in de buurt
