This was the best vacation rental we have stayed in. It was absolutely immaculate, very well organized and extremely well maintained. The landlords were thoughtful about all the details that made our stay even nicer. I can’t say enough good things about this rental and would definitely stay here again

Three days in a beautiful home with wonderful neighbours

Best vrbo ever
This has got to be the best vrbo ever. The home is perfect in every way, location, cleanliness, and everything was in perfect working order. A wonderful neighborhood and close to all amenities I really enjoyed quiet coffees on the back deck The AC was much appreciated when the humidity went up. This house has everything you need for a getaway from home.

Perfect For Families

Great home base
We highly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and well stocked. It’s close to lots of great attractions. One of our favourite day trips was stopping at the lahave bakery and taking ferry across the river to lunenburg.

First time to East Coast and this property work very well for sightseeing in the area. Everything within a couple of hours. House was well equipped with the necessities of staying for 5 days. Owners were very prompt at getting black to us. Would recommend this property.

Das Ferienhaus liegt in einem netten und ruhigen Ortsteil von Bridgewater. Die Unterkunft ist überragend! Sie ist sehr sauber und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung der Küche, Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer ist mehr als vollständig. Es fehlt an nichts! Wir können diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, sie werden nicht enttäuscht. Feels like home
It was very easy to communicate with the owner, Gary. He always answered quickly. The home is in a nice neighborhood. After staying in hotels for our road trip we were so pleased to be in such a clean, comfortable and fully equipped home. I would recommend this property for others to stay in. The only issue we had was initially finding it. Being from the USA we couldn't use our GPS while in Nova Scotia so we relied on maps that were not very detailed. Once we found it, we quickly became familiar with the area and used it as our main base.

Nous étions bien situé pour visiter le sud, de Lunenburg à Liverpool et la vallée de Annapolis. Nous retournions chaque soir pour souper à la maison. La maison était propre, bien pensée pour les visiteurs, un meuble avec tous les dépliants touristiques, et une cuisine toute équipée. Un patio pour manger dehors. Une note de 5 étoiles pour sûr.

Great find!
This place was awesome! We really enjoyed our stay. The kids liked that they each had their own place to unwind. We had lots of space to hang out as a family both inside and outside. Everything was close in proximity or a short drive to check out the sites. There is even an outdoor pool down the street where we took the kids in the evening. Gary and Shirley have thought of all the things their guests will need. If you are looking for a place to stay this is truly a home away from home. Looking forward to coming back real soon!

Wonderful oasis
This property was very user friendly. From stepping into the cool interior from the 30 degree heat, to the fresh new decor. Every little thing was carefully thought out: milk & cream and condiments in fridge, basic spices as well as a few staples. The bathrooms were over the top stocked with everything you could imagine. We sat on the deck every morning & evening. We enjoyed the coffee selection as well as the beautiful Denby mugs. We would highly recommend this property. Thank you so much!

Home away from home
Gary and Shirley are the ultimate hosts. The house is fully provisioned from the kitchen to the bathroom. Grab a few groceries and you are ready to enjoy your vacation. The house is located near a shopping centre and various restaurants. The neighbourhood is super quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay there again.

The house is a wonderful 2 bedroom place in a quiet neighborhood. Easy to find and drive to all local places including Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. Well stocked, very clean, great communication with the owners. If you are looking for a place in Bridgewater or the area - definitely recommend this spot.

Warm, spacious and welcoming
Very good house, and great hosts. Very warm and quiet (the house that is) with everything you could need for a stay away. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, washer/dryer in the basement and all the conveniences you could need. Hosts were helpful and accommodating. Can't fault them. We would highly recommend for visiting the South Shores and coves.

A sublime space
This is the second time we have stayed at Gary and Shirley’s house. It is the best equipped and most comfortable rental we’ve ever had. The kitchen has everything you could ever want, the bedroom is warm and cozy, the living room spacious and spacious. (Not to mention the two bedrooms we didn’t use!) The hosts left plenty of welcoming touches, including a bottle of local wine and tulips. A real home away from home.
