Our balcony room ( room 4 ) as you say is our "Thumb nail " pic, all propertys will put the best room on the home page, you then scroll through and select your room based on size and cost presumably. Room 8 is our most competitive room ( cheapest ) price wise and this is as it is our smallest room, which is probably why you booked it...you were originally coming on your own so it would have sufficed. In future you will have to remember this and scroll through whatever site you are booking through.Regards the room rate, remember you stayed bank Holiday Monday week end.

You booked this room on the third floor, we did not modify the reservation so surely if this floor and the fact that we do not have a lift was a problem to you , then you should not book it. You were ( as all guests areon check in ) issued with a 24 hr contact number for any querys or concerns, unfortunately you did not call it.

Yes, unfortunately Tim we had a previous guest who ignored our strict no smoking policy and covered the room smoke detector , we did confront them on this and refused them a further nights accommodation but obviously the nicotine had wafted through the room.Apologies, we had cleaned the room and at the time it seemed to have removed the smell. We as you say are now deep cleaning the room.Apologies again and we have fully refunded you , hopefully it did not inconvenience you too much.

Good to note you liked our location Caroline, as we are only one mins walk from the beach, City centre i360, and Conference centre.The square which we are located in has lovely privately tended gardens so I am not sure what you mean by would have once been lovely?Regards the rate you paid , we are very competitive on our rates which is probably the reason why you booked with us, you stayed high season on the most costly night ( Saturday ), the same room in low season mid week would have been a third of the price. All our rooms are recently re furbished and we have a maintenance team who address immediately any issues which are bought to our attention. The hallway is on that list and now that high season has come to an end we are refurbishing this part of the property .
