Very unclean
We arrived to dirty linen and the bed was unchanged from the last tenant. Given the wrong codes to enter the property and the wrong room. Very unclean room, toilet unclean and stains on the walls. We arrived back at the property after being away and the door was unlocked and open, so was our room door, we had left the door locked. Low quality furnishings. Was not worth the money we paid for it. Rubbish left from last tenant in the bin.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Everything that could go wrong certainly seemed to go wrong. A combination of your early arrival, a booking system clitch and short staff on probably one of the busiest days of the year due to Tokyo World didn't help. We will make every effort to do better! Turned away despite booking!
As we were trying to access the property (having travelled to Bristol!) I received an email saying the apartment we had booked wasn’t actually available, this was very annoying as we had booked it well in advance and only found this out after Travelling to Bristol!

As I had personally messaged you, there was an error somewhere on the system and that apartment shouldn't have made available. I apologised for the error and the fact you couldn't stay and I also told you that you will receive a full refund if your payment had already gone through. Again I can only apologise for the error.

Very Disappointing!
Very expensive considering what you get for your money, I was given a choice of a bottom bunk single bed or fold out sleeper couch. The heating was temperamental. Parking, outside the apartment on a very narrow street, no secure parking. No pubs or restaurants in walking distance. Very disappointing!!!

We are always thankful for all feedback. We do encourage every guest booking with us to read the Guest manual provided so that they are able to operate all the amenities offered including how to set heating temperatures at a level comfortable for them. In this case we popped up to the flat in person and turned up the thermostat within 2 minutes of finding out the guest was not comfortable. A single guest staying in this apartment has the choice of either a double sofabed or a bottom bunk this guest requested a double sofabed which was made up for him.
The Guest Manual provides information of the local pubs and takeaways and the apartment is within a 15 minute walk from Cabot Circus and Broadmead which offer the best of restaurants, a cinema and much more. There are takeaways within 2 minutes walk in all directions from the apartment. The narrow roads in the residential areas of Central Bristol are a fact a life and outside of our control. As we are not a hotel but offer apartments for all budgets subject to availability we are not required to provide secure off street parking.
This apartment is set a residential area with friendly neighbours and is ideal for those who want to see the real Bristol. We are sorry that this guest did not release that the cost of the apartment is related to a Luxurious City Apartment with a bed, tv, desk and fridge if you're lucky but an affordable home from home for people who like to cook their own meals and pop their clothes in the washer dryer so that they don't have to face a suitcase of dirty clothes when they arrive home.

We will always do our best to make people staying in our accommodation feel as though they are at home and not simply a guest even if that means we give them the responsibility of turning up their heating.

Very cold apartment - no instructions for heating. Bedroom was extremely disappointing - apart from the bunk bed and a chair that was it. No lighting on the stairs, which isn't great when not arriving or leaving in the daylight. Local area is not very pleasant. Certainly wouldn't recommend this place for women on their own or a family.

When we are informed of any issues whilst a guest is staying with us we pride ourselves in resolving them swiftly. We provide contact details in the check-in letter that is send to guests when they book and also in the guest manual in the apartment which is referred to in the check-in letter.
Unfortunately the bulb for the stairwell must have blown without being reported however we hope that the emergency lighting afforded some light. The bulb has now been replaced from the stock of spare bulbs in the apartment.
We are not sure how you missed the chest of drawers, wardrobe, ironing board. hairdryer and waste bin etc also in the bedroom. The apartment also have two comfortable double sofa beds that guests can use if a bunk bed does not suit. However if there is something else you think would be useful for future guests we welcome your suggestions.
The apartments are located next to a well attended children's adventure playground and a much used business centre. We have single guests of all genders, couples, groups and families stay. The neighbourhood is culturally diverse and the surrounding houses are occupied by growing families which is not for everybody. However as a single woman I have never had any problems.
We are so sorry you did not have the best experience and hope you give us the opportunity to show you that your experience was a one-off.

Thank you for your feedback. We cannot boast a luxury location, however, we are within walking distance of the town centre. We give our guests convenience and they love the free movies, washing machine and cooking facilities they get when they stay in one of our apartments

The property is located in a residential area of the city within walking distance of the town centre. Ideal for people who want to see the real Bristol however perhaps not up the street of those who like more luxury settings. We would definitely like more information concerning the reason that the custodian gave for knocking so that we can investigate the matter further. We pride ourselves in providing clean and tidily appointed safe accommodation and all staff are trained to value guest privacy. We value the feedback of all our guests so that we can improve the service we provide and have the right staff in post. We truly appreciate the three star rating given.

Thank you for leaving a review. Our stairs are standard for property built in the early 1900s. We offer a serviced apartment with washer dryer and cooking facilities, so of course our prices will be higher than a standard hotel room. We are pleased that you found the accommodation generally acceptable. Again thank you for your feedback.
