Someone was just building a home there and tore up the roads which the situation has been fixed now back to normal. We have had this rental cabin for two years with no road problems previously.

I am so happy you and your family loved the cabin and all the amenities. I just purchased a new TV and now the DVD player works without any issues and I left very detailed instructions on how to use all the electronics!! I am not a tech person so I thought this would help others like me. Everyone loves the fact that you have a wonderful cabin in the woods with great views but then you are also only couple miles from downtown Bryson City and the train and only about 10 miles or less to Cherokee. You are so close to many great family activities. I love being part of family memories!

I am happy to hear you loved your stay. The internet/cable issues were due to the replacement roof and the dishes was not aligned properly. That has been fixed now along with a brand new roof!! Sorry to hear your frustration with the ice maker which has now been fixed as well. We have never had any issues before. Everyone has found the beds to be comfy with no issues so sorry to hear you had a different experience. Everyone loves the cabin with the wood floors and the amazing view up on the mountain. As for the road, they just had a bad storm which caused some pot holes on the gravel road which they fix due to everyone that lives on that mountain are permanent residences and they take pride in having a good road to their homes. No one has ever had any problems getting to the cabin in any type of car and even my son who drives a Tesla was just there with no issues. I take pride in providing the best stay and making everyone feel right at home with all my amenities and attention to detail.

I love getting all the WOWS!! I am so happy everyone loves how I decorated the house. I wanted to be sure every family feels at home while staying there and has all the ammenities they need to enjoy their stay!! I love the fact that the neighbors on both sides are permanent residents there and are always so nice and helpful. The driveway in front of the house is level and easy to access the entrance of the house. The road in front of the house does have an incline down to the neighbors house. The location is perfect since so close to town and all the wonderful places and things to do or for a quick trip to the store. I am happy everyone is enjoying their time at Southern Comfort in Bryson City. It is "Almost Heaven"
