Wonderful vacation!
My family and I loved staying at this apartment. Laura and Mark were wonderful hosts and the location is perfect. We enjoyed the beach and local attractions and were close enough to Portland to enjoy several trips there.

Our family enjoyed a great week. The apartment is bright and welcoming. The location is the best of you just want to hang in Cape Elizabeth or explore the surrounding area. The access to Crescent Beach, being close to the strawberry fields and the beautiful surroundings made this place perfect. It is as described and if you need anything, the owners respond quickly. We enjoyed the fire pit and grill also. Will definitely return.

Perfect Little Place
This peaceful little apartment was the best possible choice for our honeymoon. It had everything we wanted: privacy, ease of access to Portland, historic sites, and the Atlantic. My neat-freak wife was SO pleased with the cleanliness and organization of the place. It was the cleanest place we've ever stayed in! The furnishings, decorations, and bedding were all very high quality. Laura was easy to rent from and very nice. Someday we'd like to come back for another stay!

The opposite of daily zoom meetings!
Our family spent the month of July here. It was beyond fantastic. Laura and Mark (and Rosa the dog) are super hosts and very responsive. The two bedroom apartment/house was spotless, bright and had everything we needed. The atmosphere is so peaceful. Well stocked kitchen, gas bbq, outdoor deck, beach chairs/towels, kiddie pool, WiFi, and a large backyard. Perfectly located within a very short walk to Crescent Beach and a quick drive to gorgeous state parks. Portland is only 15 minutes away. By far and away the best part of 2020.

Beautiful apartment and great location!
Laura and Mark's apartment across from the Inn by the Sea was wonderful! Everything you need in the apartment with plenty of little touches that make for a great stay. Walk to the beach in 5 minutes, eat breakfast or dinner at the Inn, bike to Kettle Cove to watch the sunset, a 5 minute drive from C Salt gourmet shop with excellent sandwiches and the best lobster roll we've ever had. Laura and Mark have created a fabulous stay and were wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!

Perfect place to stop and relax
I really loved this apartment; it was very easy to feel right at home. It was spotless and very cozy and warm for a winter getaway. It was very easy to get into and around Dowtown Portland, but there were also lovely local restaurants and shops in Cape Elizabeth. The property was gorgeous, even though I came when it was covered in snow. I definitely would recommend this home, and plan on coming back again!

Peaceful Escape, Great Location
Beautiful, clean apartment in a great location. About a 15 minute drive from Portland, and a peaceful place to come back to after exploring the city. Tons of windows and natural light. Beach access across the street and plenty of amenities around. Property owners are great. We actually arrived during a power outage, but they had a generator going the whole time so we weren’t affected by it. Laura was great about providing info via text. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing Stay by the Ocean
We had such a great time renting last year that we came back again. Couldn't recommend Laura's place more highly. The house is clean and well kept with more than enough space for our family of four. The yard is huge and our kids loved running around under the trees. Laura is a great host! The location is amazing - our entire family enjoyed trips to the beach, climbing on rocks and checking out Fort Williams/Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth. Its a short drive to a beach with larger waves for surfing/boogie boarding or into Portland for restaurants, the waterfront or Sea Dogs games. Another amazing stay!

Fabulous place, fabulous location, fabulous hosts.
We had such a great time at Cape Elizabeth. The apartment is very comfortable, extremely well furnished and has everything you need, even down to beach towels. The property is so close to the beach that it makes it a perfect beach holiday resort, but also close enough to Portland, if you want the hustle and bustle. Laura and Mark are really nice people, very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them (and Laura's blueberry muffin cake is delicious!!) I would definitely recommend their place to friends and family.

Everything you need!
Everything you need at Laura's property! It is in a calm, beautiful location, removed from but with easy access to downtown Portland. Nice restaurant at the Inn by the Sea across the street, and convenient access to the beach down the boardwalk behind it. We saw wild turkeys the first evening from the back deck, and slept well with cool cross breezes through the windows on all sides. Super warm welcome from Laura who gave us a quick walk-through and good ideas on nearby places to visit. Highly recommend!

Great location, great house, great host
This is a definite repeat. Place was stocked with everything you could ever ask for. Clean and exactly as described. Laura went out of her way to welcome us and help us hit all the local spots but was respectful of our privacy. When I get back to Portland, this will be the first place I look to book.

Highly recommended
Our family felt right at home in this beautiful, cozy, and well maintained apartment. Laura and Mark were wonderful hosts. They were accessible for any questions that we had but also made an effort to give us space and privacy. Our kids loved playing in the field behind the house and exploring the beautiful coves and beaches nearby.

Perfect base for exploring Portland and nearby coast

Comfortable space & Ideal location
The space was very comfortable and the location was ideal for our plans to visit family in Cape Elizabeth and tour Portland and the nearby towns. We also appreciated the easy access to the beach. Our daughters were enchanted by Maine and are eager to return!

Fantastic spot!
We had an amazing stay. Laura’s apartment is clean and neat, there was plenty of room for our family of four. Nice backyard for the kids to play. Location is perfect, a short walk to the beach, a little ice cream stand up the road and an easy drive into Portland. Looking forward to our next visit!

Nice People and a Nice Property
We totally enjoyed our stay with Laura and Mark Morris and their dog Rosa. The apartment was very nice and the ac was fully engaged upon arrival which was very much appreciated. Laura provided great dining and beaching suggestions and also offered us a bag of DD coffee when I incorrectly thought I forgot to pack my coffee. The property is a short walk from Crescent State Park Beach. You can cut thru the Inn at the Sea lobby and access the beach. I found Cape Elizabeth to a be sleepy and pleasant community and would stay here again. If you want something with more action, you can visit Portland or Old Orchard Beach. Enjoy!

Peaceful tranquility!!!
Where should I begin to list all of the positives about this rental property!! The landlords, Laura and Mark, were extremely friendly and personable!! They made us feel like family and actually seemed to care about our sons and their futures! This was our very first time ever renting a place through an on-line agency and I can say that Laura and Mark have put our faith in renting at an all-time high. The extreme cleanliness of the apartment and the overall experience we encountered were truly commendable! The property was located near everything and anything you would ever want/need to explore! Laura even gave us suggestions on where to buy lobsters to take home as well as good tips on what to see in the area. Fort Williams was such a beautiful place full of so much history, I felt that we were getting an education as well as just being on vacation. I can't wait until we are able to enjoy this property again in the near future!! It will definitely be our home away from home when we visit Maine again!! I didn't want to leave and I can't wait to return!!! Although the apartment was across the street from the Inn by the Sea, it was extremely quiet! You would never know there was a hotel across the street! The beach behind Inn by the Sea was a sandy beach and it was so peaceful to let your worries slip away while you walked the beach. Thank you Laura and Mark for being such wonderful landlords! We look forward to seeing you again!!

Exactly what we wanted.
Spotlessly clean; very comfortable; Host and Hostess available when needed ( cable TV problem) but never hovering. Jumped on our TV issue and solved it within minutes. That said, I think we had the TV on about an hour the whole week. We were there to enjoy Cape Elizabeth, which we did indeed.

Lovely, well appointed apartment in beautiful location!
The apartment is a nice private setting with everything a guest could need! We appreciated the soaps, towels, lovely bedding and hospitable & friendly owners who were close by. The nearby parks and coastline is stunning and fun to explore. Adorable Portland and quaint shops are only a few miles away and the local restaurants were great! We especially enjoyed Bird Dog Road House, less than 1 mile away and delicious food! A really wonderful home away from home for a terrific Maine vacation!

Wonderful Location, welcoming host and very clean.
The ease of access/parking and the comforts of home with hosts that took care of our shoveling, it was a treat. We have already recommended it to family and friends. We Loved that we were near many State Parks and coastal beaches. Location made It an easy jaunt into Portland.
