Such a wnderful cabin!
Took a little bit to find in the dark, but we are so glad we did. Everything was wonderful! It is so quiet and peaceful there. The cabin is beautifully decorated, and the scenery is awesome! I spent one whole morning and part of the afternoon on the porch, just listening to the rain come down and looking out at the lake. My wife almost had to bring breakfast out to me because i didnt want to go in! Definitely hope it is available the next time I am in the area.

Fall Get Away
It was very nice, clean and conveniently located. The only downfall, we were unable to sleep in the upstairs loft as the steps were too steep, so we had to sleep on the pull-out sofa which was not so comfortable. All-in-all, a good stay.

Beautiful and Relaxing
The cabin is located in a beautiful rural area surrounded by a pond and a river. The cabin was cozy and we mostly enjoyed the oversized swing on the back deck overlooking the river. We spent most of our time on the swing relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather and views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we look forward to staying again if we are ever back in the area. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Anniversary Trip to Rome
My husband and I enjoyed our much needed anniversary weekend at the cabin! We relaxed on the porch, napped on the porch swing, fished in the pond and the lake and enjoyed dinner and a walk downtown Rome. The cabin itself, inside was clean and cozy, with everything we needed, but the outside is where we spent a majority of our time, laughing, talking, and listening to music. I highly recommend the cabin for a nice, quiet get away with your significant other or your family! The hosts were wonderful and easy to get in contact with! Thank you for our wonderful anniversary weekend!

Relaxing getaway

Tranquil and sweet
This adorable cottage was as sweet as it gets -- the place was spotlessly clean, charming, cozy, amazingly private. My favorite part was the back porch where there is a giant swing bed, loaded with pillows. Our weather turned off unexpectedly cold or I would have stayed out there the whole time! The town of Cave Spring is also delightful. It feels like Mayberry. It only has one grocery store but we found everything we needed there (we came with nothing!) We spent a lot of time shopping in town and just loved that. The steakhouse in town was superb. Rolater Park is a dream too, with the spring right there where you can fill up your jugs with delicious fresh water. My only complaint was that the cabin doesn't have wifi...I had to go to town to get cell service and to use my computer (which I needed, for work). That could actually be good, if you need to unplug. I want to go back at some point, to do just that. Can't say enough about the property's serenity and how the owner has the place done up just perfectly. They had a lot of DVDs and we enjoyed watching movies the day it rained. There is no cable connection. So unplug, and get yourself some relaxation and peace!

The property was very nice and clean. We had a very nice time. Everything we needed was provided. We did buy some extra wood for the fireplace as we had snow the first day there. It was very relaxing. We would definitely go back.

Perfect place to reset
My family and I had the best time! The property is better then what was expected. It was clean, well decorated/ cozy, and in a great location. We were able to get the rest that was well needed and spent plenty of quality time together. It was above and beyond our expectations and we will most definitely come back asap. The sleeping space was our only obstacle as the only bed was in a loft and there was no where for the kids to sleep but a palette on the floor. We made due and still enjoyed our stay but next time we won't bring our kids. Thank you again for allowing us to stay! See you very soon!

This cabin was lovely! We had a great time relaxing and fishing. The turtles bit everything we put out in the water, but eventually we caught about five catfish and bream, all catch and release. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Beautiful, rustic cabin
The owners truly thought of everything. If you forgot it, the owners remembered it for you. Fully stocked restroom, kitchen cookware, grilling tools, fishing poles, etc. The locals were friendly and welcoming, the views were gorgeous, we even caught a catfish! We can't wait to come back!

Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your beautiful cabin. From the moment we opened the door, we were amazed at all the little details that stood out. Everything was perfect inside & outside. The bed was super comfortable & the 2 of us fit perfectly. As for the fishing, we couldn't put our lines out without getting a fish. They just kept on coming. I think the swing bed was our favorite thing of all. We can't wait to comeback again. Thank you again. 😊

We enjoyed the cabin and were very happy that the air conditioner worked well since the weather was unusually hot. We brought our own canoe and enjoyed paddling on the peaceful water - only having to share it with fishermen, who wanted the same quietness. The back porch overlooking the water provided a great view and the large padded swing was relaxing. We appreciate the DVD selection of movies and the option of watching movies in the den or while lying in bed.

Always leave something better than you find it.
Thatis hard to do here. It was immaculately clean. It is the most well stocked place we have ever stayed, even down to the q-tips under the bathroom sink and a first aid kit in the kitchen. I did find the hummingbird nectar and refill the feeder. The only thing I could say was that whoever maintains the grounds should take the blower to the porch to get all the grass off the swings and chairs from mowing and weedeating. Aside from that, I would definitely recommend this place and we will stay again.

Absolutely fabulous!
We are so blessed to have found this sweet gem! EVERYTHING was just perfect! The cabin is so charming and CLEAN!! There are so many thoughtful touches in this home. My favorite was the lovely quilt folded just right on the porch bed swing. I had several great naps on it! The fishing was great and we appreciated the fish food to "warm them up". We have rented several places through VRBO in years past, but I have to say this one is by far our all time favorite. We've shared the link to this home with several of our friends, so we hope they enjoy it as much as we did. The owners are VERY kind and communication was fantastic. Thank you again for the blessing of making such a wonderful sanctuary in your little cabin!

Hidden Gem!
My husband, two boys, and I spent the last 4 days unplugging and just relaxing with each other. As soon as we pulled up to the cabin, we were in love! My boys fished from sun up to sun down each day, and both caught catfish! They were so excited. I enjoyed swinging on the porch and reading a book, while taking in the scenery of my family by the water. A pleasant surprise is that not only did we have a view of the pond, but a beautiful creek from the porch as well! The cabin itself was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Cave Spring, GA. was just a short drive away, and we spent one afternoon in town visiting local shops and having a steak dinner at Linde Marie’s - it was fabulous! This will be our new easy trip for unwinding, for sure.

Beautiful cabin with an amazing bed swing! Kitchen was very easy to work in and had great cookware. This is a real bonus. Couple of nights were a little loud from neighbors and their music around the lake area nearby. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Misrepresented
I booked this place in a hurry before I looked at the pictures based on the description. The ad said 2 bedrooms and sleeps 5 or 6. It said sofa bed. The only bed was up a ladder in a loft. The sofa wasn’t a bed. There’s a swing on the porch with a comfortable cushion. The only sleeping options are climb a ladder to a queen bed, one person sleeping on the sofa, another in a recliner with one more outside on the porch. I’m 72 years old and handicapped. There was no way I could make it to the only bed in the cabin. I messaged the owner explaining I am handicapped and couldn’t climb the ladder. I asked if the sofa would fold to a bed. He said no but it was very comfortable. While I was there, I read the ratings and reviews. They were very complimentary but not my opinion at all. I’ll never go back and have lost confidence in vrbo. Rip-off

Yes, This tenant called and we discussed all of the above in detail. He said he was travelling alone and assured me of his comfort with our amenities before he booked. We go to extra efforts for our handicapped guests and fully disclose our sleeping arrangements. Loft bedroom, sofa in living room, air mattresses, swing bed on porch. This was the perfect little get away cabin for me, a single mom, and my son (age13) and my nephew (age15) to stay and just relax and fish. The cabin has everything we needed plus some. Seriously … I forgot coffee and they had it !!! Lifesavers! Dishes and seasonings to cook with. Fire pit and grill. Also had fishing poles available but we brought our own. The pond is stocked but we didn’t catch anything the first day …..until we switched our bait to raw chicken breast seasoned in garlic sauce. The catfish loved that. The river scenery is just gorgeous and the hanging bed on the porch is everything. I felt safe in the very small town which is super important to me as I often travel alone with my kids. Wal mart and fast food options are about 20 minutes away. The owner replied quickly to every message I sent. Honestly I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Beautiful piece of property. Location was a pretty drive in from Gadsden, and only 20’ to Rome. Cave Spring itself is a small town but has some cool little shops to go visit. We will go back for sure.

Beautiful inside and out!
My partner and I stayed at this location from M-F and that still wasn’t enough time for us! The cabin has a cozy atmosphere that is complimented by the personal touches in every nook and cranny. The cabin provided all the comforts and necessities of home, while being far away from it all. Although we didn’t catch much, the catfish pond offered much entertainment with its wildlife. The turtles and bluegill greeted us every morning and the toads serenaded us through the night. We may have lost a few pounds walking to and from the dock but the breathtaking view of the creek was well worth it. We loved ending our nights with a fire and swinging on the porch bed. We unfortunately had a few hiccups right before checkout time and found ourselves running late and into the cleaning staff. They were as sweet as they come and completely understanding of our situation. Our only regret is that we don’t live close enough to visit once a week! (…And that the porch bed couldn’t fit in our car…)

Absolutely paradise
We fell in love with this location. It was so very peaceful and just beautiful surroundings. Everything you could need. Pictures do not do this place justice. My only complaint is, we loved it so much and went to book it again and the price had almost doubled. (Also, be aware of the galley style stairs.) We'll definitely be trying to save enough to do it again though. It was amazing!!

Perfect place to unplug!
My family is refreshed after a nice weekend away at the cabin. We fished and enjoyed the outdoors away from the noise. The nearby town of Cave Spring is quaint and full of Southern hospitality. Highly recommend for a getaway!

Perfect Cabin, Perfect Stay
From booking to checkout it could not have been better or easier. My sons and I had a great time. The cabin was just the right size and had everything we needed. Relaxing on the porch and fishing everyday made our stay perfect. Already checking dates to stay again next year. Our hosts were great but weren’t ever needed. 5 star rating for us no doubt!

Our Full size Sofa bed on the 1st floor with an extra mattress pad provided is more than comfortable for those who prefer not to navigate an "angled" (not vertical) ship's ladder to the loft bedroom. Our 1st floor amenities include Complementary coffee and tea, TV W/150 movies, full size kitchen, private bath, wrap around covered porch and 2 outdoor grills. The campfire area is only 20 ft. away, fully stocked catfish pond 25 ft. away and a single step front porch makes this peaceful place a favorite for our often returning and elderly clientele. Book with confidence at any age or physical restrictions. We also provide extra considerations for our handicapped guests! Just advise us in advance of your stay!

Perfect Fishing Cabin
My husband and I took our 10 year-old son to the cabin to celebrate his birthday. He loves fishing and this was the perfect location and experience for him. We fished all day, he caught tons of hybrids, and even filleted his first fish! The cabin was clean, cozy, with everything we needed, including tons of DVDs. The loft room does have a ladder to climb up as the only access...something to consider with small children of physical limitations. The property is beautiful and is a great area to explore and enjoy the beautiful sunrise. The owners were very helpful and communicates quickly. Thank you so much for letting us use your cabin!
