Per descrivere Casa Santo Stefano nel dettaglio servirebbero pagine e pagine ma basta un aggettivo: tutto semplicemente PERFETTO: titolare della struttura, personale di accoglienza e di servizio, location, camere ed arredamento (curatissimo e particolare), pulizia delle camere e di tutti gli altri ambienti, giardino e piscina, qualità della colazione. Ci torneremo sicuramente appena possibile. Consigliatissimo !!!!

Casa Santo Stefano was a highlight of our trip! The B&B style hotel was very stylish, clean, and had a stunning view of Lake Como. Our room was amazing! We had a great terrace to view the lake, and a very comfortable lounge area in our room. Breakfast was great - the staff took great care to prepare a tasty spread of pastries, meats, cheeses, antipasti, eggs, cereals and yogurt. As you would expect in Italy, the coffee was out of this world! The hotel is not staffed 24-hours a day, however they are available via WhatsApp to help and answer any queries you may have. We found the staff to be incredibly helpful before and during our stay. The property is located up the hill from Cernobbio (pack good shoes for walking up cobblestone stairs). There are a couple of restaurants nearby for dinner. We can’t wait to return!

The most peaceful, clean and adorable property. I did not want to leave. Everything was so easy and I felt very taken care of from the moment of check in. The breakfast was delightful. The neighborhood is beautiful and such a nice walking distance to restaurants. I can’t wait to go back so I can’t stay longer and enjoy the gorgeous pool!

Great place! Adel was super helpful. The room was clean and well decorated, location was great, and we enjoyed the honor bar for a nightcap after a long day. The bed was a little uncomfortable but that’s really my only complaint. Loved this place.

This place was somehow more beautiful than I was expecting. The views are incredible, and the property itself is lovely. Breakfast in the morning was great, and the stuff was very nice. You should know the place is a bit up a hill, which is mostly relevant if you're walking -- but the walk is beautiful and not far from the ferry. Loved our stay!

Prima Unterkunft. Moderne Ausstattung, schöne Zimmer. Super Frühstück. Negativ ist höchstens der steile Berg von Como hinauf, wenn man läuft. Achtung bei der Anfahrt- manche Navis führen über eine sehr kleine Privatstrasse (ZTL), unbedingt vorher schauen.

Well, the property is a bit of a walk to the lake, but it is really nice. Adel, the overall staff whiz, was excellent. The pool was a great treat. By the way, Adel makes the best cappuccinos bar none! The breakfasts are nice. My only quibble is the three level tray of food brought to the table is sweets and carb heavy. it would be good if we could have more meat or cheese if we wish.

This is an exceptional property in a great location. The view of Lake Como is unparalleled. The room was spotless, everything starting with the furniture and ending with the last detail was high end. The pool was amazing, the breakfast sublime.

Modern and spacious B&B with great service
Amazing view, private, clean, modern and spacious, peaceful balcony and pool area. Very attentive host with great suggestions to get around and places to go. Great location, up the hill, off the crowded area, a quick drive downtown Como.

Sehr gepfelgt mit tollem Ausblick
Auf unseren Trip durch Nord Italien hielten wir in Cernobbio, um uns Como anzuschauen. Von dort aus ist Como schnell und einfach mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Aber auch Cernobbio ist sehr reizvoll speziell durch die Aussicht auf Como und die tollen Restaurants. Wir waren Ende Mai in diesem wunderschönen Anwesen, als der Jasmin blüte und es überall wundervoll danach roch. Das Haus, die Zimmer, der Garten und der Pool sind sehr gepflegt. Das Frühstück war köstlich und der tolle Ausblick dabei einfach perfekt. Man sollte allerdings wissen, das nur das größte Zimmer diese schöne Aussicht hat. Leider war ein Check-in vor 15 Uhr nicht möglich. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

This is an amazing place to stay: a stylish and generous atmosphere permeates a house with only four rooms but a great pool, bar, and breakfast under flowers and greenery. The house does not have its own restaurant yet feels more private: we would have loved to stay for an entire week!

Hidden Gem
Situated in the hills above central Cernobbio, this is an amazing B&B with beautiful views of the lake. It is tastefully furnished and well maintained. There is a very nice pool in the well landscaped garden. With only 4 rooms, the experience is very private. The breakfast is good and is served on a picturesque balcony (weather permitting). We had an easy walk to 2 good local restaurants and was a 5 minute drive away from the highly rated Gatto Nero restaurant in one direction and central Cernobbio in the other. There is a well stocked self-service bar available 24/7, which operates on an honesty system. The staff we met were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. We look forward to coming back.

Perfect birthday getaway to Como.
My husband and I have spent the last 6 months travelling around Italy. We had yet to visit Como and thought it would be the perfect place to celebrate his birthday. After doing some research on the area we decided to stay in Cernobbio. We had a magnificent stay at Casa Santo Stefano. The grounds were well manicured and the gardens enchanting, from our grand suite balcony we had a clear view of the Lake and Como. We loved the mix of old and new throughout the B&B/hotel and the attention to detail. The room was clean, comfortable and and luxurious. We very much appreacited the complimentary parking out front of the B&B. Restaurants and shops were in walking distance and the staff were helpful in making suggestions on where to eat and what to see. A great spot for luxury style accommodation and a relaxing retreat.

Wonderful luxury boutique b&b
Located above the charming lakeside town of Cernobbio, this beautiful boutique b&b exceeded our expectations. There are only four rooms and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to the most luxurious suite with unbelievable views over Lake Como towards the city of Como. This is the best hotel room we have ever stayed in with very high specifications and beautifully appointed furnishings. The swimming pool area is very nice with very comfortable loungers and as there are at most eight people staying, it has the feel of being very private. There is some traffic noise from a main highway down the hill, but this didn't distract from the beauty of the views. Breakfast is more than adequate, with a nice selection of hot and cold food, tasty cakes and fresh fruit. The house is a few minutes drive down some very winding roads to the town or a twenty minute walk down some steep steps. Need to be fit coming back up! There are some very good restaurants dotted around the area. A short walk from the casa is restaurant il Glicine, top of the list on Trip Advisor and we ate two wonderful meals there. All in all a very beautiful place to stay, albeit rather expensive.

Sehr schöne Umgebung und sauberes Zimmer!
Alles super, schöne Umgebung! Nur am Pool hört man etwas die Strasse und morgens weckt einen die Kirchenglocke. Trotzdem gerne wieder!

This hotel is impeccable! Lodgers are advised to have cars (we didn't) because the 15 minute walk downhill to the town is trecherous. Portions of the journey are on narrow roads without sidewalks. Of course the return trip is uphill. Cernobbio has only a handful of taxis. On a couple of occasions we took a ferry to nearby Como to catch a cab that would take us back to the hotel. Once there we felt pampered.

Vi undrede os i første omgang over, hvorfor vi blev kontaktet mht. at advisere vores cirka check-in tidspunkt. Det viste sig at der nærmere var tale om et BB end et hotel. Men vores skepsis blev gjort til skamme idet stedet viste sig at være overordentligt lækkert indrettet og meget stilfuldt. Morgenmaden, som blev serveret på skranken i check-in foyeen, var meget lækker, og kan bedst beskrives som "gourmet" agtig. Den relativt høje pris var alle pengene værd.

Italian Villa hotel with views of lake Como
Amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel was well thought out and offers a great pool area for guests to chill after a day checking out the near by town Cernobbio. The hotel seems like a true Italian villa with rustic modern feeling interiors. The garden terrace was excellent to sit in, day or night, and enjoy some vino. The breakfast was great with tons of options to chose from and the prices for the bar items were more than fair. The hotel was extremely clean and the room sizes were similar to North American rooms not the typical tiny European hotel rooms. The view of the lake is breath taking from anywhere in the hotel, and you feel like your in your own private estate. Near by restaurants which were walking distance, had great food. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, they even agreed to courier my wife's hat (which she forgot) to our next hotel free of charge. Bravo Casa Santo Stefano!!! I cannot recommend this place enough and hope to return again soon! Grazie, Chris
