Nice little cabin
Very nice property right on the river. A little too close to I-90 so heard the freeway at all times. Dishwasher still does not work - read of this in the reviews by another person who rented this cabin so don’t understand why it was not fixed. Check out time at 10am is completely unreasonable. Couldn’t even enjoy a Sunday breakfast as we had to pack up upon waking. 😒

First the house didn't have a CD player or stereo so please change the listing. I brought a lot of CD's I was looking forward to playing. Second the fireplace remote batteries needed to be replaced so your local people responded to that immediately, so I had heat during the 40 degree mornings. Overall I would come back - I loved the porch and the swing by the river and had great weather. The only other thing is that I think check out time should be later. I wanted to get a walk in during the mornng I left but had no time. 11 AM or noon would have been perfect. Thanks

Will be coming back here
We loved this little cabin and talked as a group several times about coming back. The location was great with the river in your backyard and 3 lakes within a 15 minute drive. It’d be a great place to stay in summer and winter.

Nice place
Rented the cabin with my boys. It was an enjoyable stay, with the exception of some height-related bonks on the head from the shower curtain rail (we range from 6' to 6',3"). NICE rear deck. The kitchen is well stocked and great for meal prep. The fridge is cold. Cute dishwasher does its job well. Comfy furniture. Excellent movie selection - even though we didn't watch any of them. River access is somewhat gymnastic, but not too terrible. We have a Newfoundland mix that would not be denied his time in the river; getting in was simple, getting him out required all three of us. Pretty quiet location. Good parking. Nice scenery. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful setting that leaves much desired
Beautiful setting on the river, however much of the promised getaway retreat didn’t live up to its promises. One reason we booked the property was because of the isolated location river setting, that was suppose to be equipped with a backyard fire pit, a leisure reading hammock and propane deck heaters. Upon arrival the fire pit had over a foot of standing water in it, so you guessed it, no s’mores or relaxing by the fire. There was no hammock on the property. The propane heaters were operational, but left with no propane. So in order to enjoy time out on the deck we had to go fill up two propane tanks ($55) just to make this deck operational. The lack of wifi, lack of working vhs/dvd player and handicap shower that required a special handshake/tap dance while rotating 3 separate knobs simultaneously just to operate, really put the sour taste in our mouth. The last straw (and what actually made us leave this property before our stay even ended) was the fact that the river flooded so bad that we either had to leave right then or cross our fingers and pray that the flooding stopped just so we could drive our vehicles out of the driveway. There was over 1.5 feet standing water in the driveway. Luckily we decided to leave early and not risk further flooding that would strand us on site. Not recommended place to stay.

Wonderful riverside cabin
We absolutely loved this adorable cabin... it had everything we needed and it was very cozy. We didn't mind the little quarks but unfortunately, it wasn't the cleanest (quite dusty, lots of dog hair on the furniture, and unwashed glasses and dishes in the cabinets) and some things (dishwasher and sluding screen door) were broken. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay and loved living on the beautiful river for a few days.

cute & quaint but beware of the dog hair...everywhere!
We enjoyed the location and proximity to activities near the cabin. Overall we had a great time as a family but would likely bring my own sheets and blankets if staying again. I was aware that the cabin was dog friendly but there was dog hair everywhere. There was dog hair in every bedrooms sheets, on the couches, on the floor and on the pillows. we attempted to rewash everything as the extra sheets were wet still.

Great cabin getaway
This cabin is absolutely charming. It backs right up to the Yakima river, so you have some nice background noise while outside. We were hoping for a snowy winter getaway and we got that in spades. 10/10 experience.

Anniversary weekend
The cabin was exactly as described and pictured. We had a wonderful long weekend with just the two of us and our dog. The gas fire was perfect for the rainy days we had. Kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of linens. Soooo much space. Bummed the VCR didn’t work, but not too surprised. TV and DVD player were just great. The deck and yard are big; we only saw one other dog once. We’d love to go back with family next time.

Excellent Family Getaway
Property and home better than expected! Home nicely updated, great shower. Plenty of room even though we maxed capacity. The yard, River and birds were lovely! We spent most of our time at the river and in the yard playing with the kids and grandkids. We went to the lake walking distance from the cabin two days. Swimming, fishing, kayaking! So many options! Thank you.

Disappointed
Beautiful area and beautiful lot on river. Cabin is cute with great views and a wonderful gas stove but too many things are old or run down. Water system did not work properly after day 2 which made showering, flushing and dishwashing all but impossible. Kitchen needs to be cleaned...old spices and too much other cooking items left by previous vacationers needs to be thrown out, old pots and pans organized and/or replaced. Grill was filthy...no way would we cook on it even if we could have started it. DVD’s and VCR tapes too old or damaged to work. VACASA never returned our calls about the water and they screwed up our check in. Despite all this, the area is so beautiful we made do.

Not what I expected
Just like the picture in this email, I was expecting a nice patio, some where I could spend time with the family. The patio was not as pictured, not seat cusions for the chairs, no hammock, and no propane for the heater or barbecue for the first half of our stay.

Riverside cottage
This little place was very cozy, and full of charm. Arrived with the gas fireplace going so it was already warmed up. A lot of the owners personal items. But, it's what makes it cozy. The back deck was in need of clean up, but didn't affect our stay. Only negative would be we weren't able to get the cable/dish working and wifi was very weak, but we were just looking to watch a movie and pulled out a dvd...something we had not done in a few years. The river is really beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay!

Relaxing , Beautiful Location
This delightful cabin was a wonderful place to getaway for a quiet, relaxing stay. The gently flowing river is soothing to hear and to gaze upon. Both the indoor and outside spaces were comfortable (outdoor heater on porch). Although the listing does say WiFi is available it was mostly not working. That was fine with us, we enjoyed being unplugged! Would love to come back and experience this lovely place in other seasons. The fall color was stunning!

Our group of five were completely comfortable in the cozy cabin. Loved the proximity to Snoqualmie Pass for hiking and skiing. Easy drive from Seattle. Would definitely go again.

Smaller than it looked, but sweet spot.
The place is smaller than it looked online. But worked great for our family of four. Good thing our friends who were going to come with us didn’t. It would have been much too cramped, especially with the only eating table being a breakfast nook w/bench seats. When we arrived, the floors didn’t look like they had been swept, there was garbage all over the back deck from previous guests that had obviously been partying, with several miniature liquor bottles all over the yard, and someone had left a pair of boots near the fireplace- whoops. We were pleased with the location right on the river, it was a calm and lovely spot. The house is located right next to a couple of other places, but no one was there when we stayed, so it was quiet and peaceful. We didn’t expect WiFi, but they had it and that was nice, but it kept going out and we had to unplug and reset the modem several times. Beds were comfy and kitchen was well stocked.

Very Relaxing and quite
My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday, I wanted to take him somewhere relaxing and quite - this was definitely it. Our stay was originally for four days but due to a nasty snow storm weather we lost power all day and we were not prepared for that. The rental company was great about getting us moved quickly. The house is right on the river so as soon as you get out of your vehicle you can hear calmness. Very cozy inside. If your looking for a place to unwind from the city this is a place to book. We will definitely be coming back in the summer.

This cabin worked great for our family. Close enough to Snoqualmie pass and we had many hours of sledding and snow fort building. Great outdoor space and very close to I90. One word of caution, although this is listed as "no pets" it appears the owner brings a pet here. Bring some Sudafed if you are highly allergic to dogs.

Great Cabin
This is the hardest review to write because we absolutely loved this cabin and don't want everyone booking this property! We had a wonderful 3 nights at Riverbend. Our weather went from heavy rain to blue skies! Both were great for different reasons. Dinner on the deck with the heat lamp was the highlight while the rain came down. Next day sitting by the river in the sunshine reading with a big bonfire was a treat too! This cabin has everything! The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. Beds were comfortable with crisp clean sheets. The rain shower was special in the bathroom. Cable TV was great for watching college football all day! We did have cell coverage. HIghlight of the trip was the neighbor dog, Chester! He would come by to play fetch and he was a very sweet dog! The river and leaves were beautiful! We will return to this little piece of paradise!!! Thank you to the owners who did a great job on the remodel!!!

Cozy and perfect for our family
Everything was just as described and perfectly cozy for our family! The upstairs loft was great for our girls to share and we loved the huge covered patio along with the hammock and corn hole game! The swing in front of the river was relaxing and the trees provided enough seclusion for us. There were enough staples in the kitchen for our needs. One minor negative was that the sliding doors for the bathroom were on the fragile side, so we were sure to be careful with them. Thank you!

Beautify remodeled cabin right on the river. Real hardwood floors but take care not to get slivers. Recommend and may find myself back. With only 1 bathroom it may be burdensome with a party over 4. But doable. Cheers

Wonderful getaway that was so peaceful

Great cozy cabin, well decorated with just about everything you need.
Spent a few days relaxing with family and getting familiar with local area. Great location. Cabin was clean and well appointed. We spent almost all our time on the deck. I would’ve given 5 stars if we hadn’t run out of bbq propane the first night. While we were cooking. I even tried the patio heater but that was empty also. Which was a drag because our entire menu for our stay basically called for a bbq. We called the number provided at the cabin to report the lack of propane. Because our meals were bbq based I just brought the empty into town the next morning and paid to fill it up myself. That got us through lunch and dinner. A nice gentleman stopped by and brought us a filled propane tank- It was just 2 days later than we needed. Other than that it is great place and would strongly recommend.

Fabulous cabin!
We loved this cabin! It was very private, the river was pretty and you could hear it while you slept, and the back porch was awesome. The lake in short walking distance was well-stocked, as was the kitchen. We will definitely be back!

Clean and quiet!
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and quiet and had all of the amenities we need for cooking and relaxing. There were a few lamps that didn’t work and we couldn’t get the outside heater on the deck to work but other than that, it was great!

Wonderful, easy getaway
Our family enjoyed a great weekend at this perfect little cabin. There were four adults and two kids and the cabin fit us comfortably. It’s incredibly well appointed with everything you could need for cooking, bbq-ing, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, toiletries, towels and fans, flashlights and headlamps, fishing gear, lots of yard games and puzzles. We easily went into Cle Elum and Roslyn, and waked just a few minutes to the dock to fish right in Lavendar Lake - and caught trout! It’s just as cute and comfortable as it looks online in pictures. The only downside was there is a bit of freeway white noise as you’re close to I-90 - but when the wind was blowing through the pretty trees, we didn’t notice at all. Great time, great deal, highly recommend!
