Perfect weekend getaway
Very nice comfotable cabin in a quiet location. Pool was perfect! Even watched hangliding lessons from our porch. We definitely would consider that cabin again.

Perfect cabin
My wife and i stayed at the cabin as we were in the area to explore the local rivers and creeks. The cabin and the property was easy to find, clean and relaxing. We enjoyed the seclusion and the grounds. Perfect spot to sit on the porch or tiki bar area to relax at the end of the day. We look forward to coming back.

Pleasant Surprise
Found on VBRO then saw associated Hang Gliding, we didn’t get to go up this trip due to weather but will definitely be back. Even if you don't hang glide, great location and property to ‘glamp’. Clean, relaxing and great location/ property. Cabin was comfortable and very nice as well.

Very relaxing - great host
We enjoyed our 3-day stay in the log cabin at The Florida Ridge. We love the outdoors and enjoyed the privacy of the setting. Everything was as stated in the description. The host was very prompt to respond to our questions - even though we arrived on a holiday. Would definitely return again sometime.

Pleasant and restful
If you are wanting to stay in a nice comfortable place away from crowds, noise and traffic, this cabin may be just what you need. My husband and I stayed for a week with an elderly dog. It was perfect for us!

Fun weekend
We absolutely loved our stay we are going to comeback again the only problem was we went to the wrong cabin it was too dark and we didn’t see the cabins number but other than that we loved our stay ❤️

Perfect R&R Trip
We decided to do a last minute weekend away with our two dogs. We planned to relax and just enjoy the area. We loved the secluded area and the cabin! It was a very cute place to stay. It was clean and had all of the basics stocked. We enjoyed opening the front windows of the cabin and watching everyone take off for hang gliding! We look forward to our next trip here and potentially joining in for the hang gliding.

Old FL summer Camp vibes

Vast expanse of sky
The third cabin has a screened in porch-important. Pix look like the pool is yours, but it’s shared ( not a big deal, plenty of shared space and shade). Very clean and the bed was fine. We didn’t use the fire pit or bbq stuff, rained, but enjoyed watching the clouds and sky change of an evening.

We had such a nice, peaceful weekend. My granddaughter had a blast just running around and swinging in the hammock! It was clean, quiet, and serene…just what we needed!!

Very relaxing
I was looking for some alone time, great place for that. Very quiet! Just what I needed. Very cozy little cabin, very clean. The only thing I would say that I was not thrilled with is the bed was not the most comfortable. Would definitely recommend to someone looking for a quite getaway!

Nice quiet place
We went here just to get away for our anniversary. The cabin was clean and had a upstairs loft for sleeping. We watched the hang gliders the first day and then spent a lot of time on the porch. There was a large selection of older movies to watch. Kitchen was adequate but could have used some basic cooking pans and glasses. Overall we had a good time and would recommend to others.

Great place to stay
Cozy cabin located within 15-20 minutes of two different towns with grocery stores/gas stations/restaurants etc. Also within a 2 hour drive of anything south Florida (Miami, West Palm Beach, Fort Myers, Everglades). Lots of day trips were easy to accommodate from this location. Quiet and peaceful, away from the highway, lots of space.

Comfortable and private
My husband and I stayed here for a 3 night getaway. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed! The hosts were very helpful and communicated everything we needed to know in advance. We used it as home base as we explored Lake Okeechobee, the Big Cypress National Preserve, and the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. There is so much to see in south Florida and we will be using this rental again!

Weekend Getaway
If youre looking for a super affordable quick get away place, this cabin is perfect for that. The property is on a hanggliding field so as youre sitting outside playing boardgames or just chilling, you get to watch people hangliding, super cool. If you live in South Florida it makes this place even better because your drive up and back is so short, no need to drive hours to get to your destination. Will definitely be returning!

Isolated, relaxing, top quality cabin
I am a fan. This is not a place to go if you want bright lights big city, but it is a very pleasing place for a bit of isolation. The cabin is well built and appears quite new. It has a full kitchen with new equipment, AC and good Internet. The owner is nearby and responds to issues quickly. I found the bed comfy. Would certainly stay there again.

We were delighted this cabin was as advertised but the beautiful & serene environment was a bonus! The cabin was comfortable and cozy and provided the relaxing get away we were seeking. Central Location for Family Reunion
My Extended family all live in Florida but we are spread out in all directions, so finding a meeting place where we can gather outdoors was desired. We loved the weather of the Clewiston region, the natural shade of large Oakes, the abundance of sitting and dining furniture all about the property. There was much more to enjoy with a pool, fire pits, hammocks- just a relaxing private place to enjoy. I wish we could have stayed longer! The indoors were awesome too. The logistics made for a lovely casual reunion where some stayed on the property while others returned home.

Quiet weekend away for Father's day
We had an awesome, relaxing 2 night stay and were excited to hang glide as well! We came because of cabin & pool & enjoyed a quiet restful break from everything . We will definitely return again with rest of the family.

Beautiful cabin
If you need a quiet getaway in the middle of nowhere and with no one else around, this is the place for you! Beautiful and clean, huge field for the dogs to run in. Nice big tv to stream whatever you want. Nice kitchen and bathroom. Bring food because there is no grocery near by. I will be going back to decompress again soon!

Wonderful Cabin
Nice and comfortable cabin. Well built, would have loved to have this when we were younger and spent many weeks in Northern Wisconsin in Lake country. It is very well built and waste no space.

Great getaway place!!!
The cabin is more beautiful than the pictures show. Super clean and had everything we needed. The surrounding nature was amazing, and so serene. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone. Kids loved the pool and giant fields to run in.

The Log Cabin in Florida
It was everything that was advertised. The only thing lacking was a washer and dryer (that was 20 miles away), but that is nobody's fault. You can even watch the hang gliding from the front porch.

HAD A NICE QUIET RELAXING TIME.
IT WAS OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. WAS A LOT OF NOISE ON THE OUTSIDE BUT ONCE YOU WALKED INTO THE CABIN IT WAS SOUNDPROOF. SLEPT LIKE A BABY MOST OF MY WEEKEND MY DOG WAS THE ONLY PAIN IN THE BUTT. LOL. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT TO RELAX AND CHILL. THERE WERE THINGS TO DO IF YOU DIDNT WANT JUST QUIET AND RELAXATION AS WELL. DIDNT WANT TO COME BACK TO THE CITY THAT I DEAL WITH ON A WEEKLY BASIS THATS FOR SURE.

Little slice of paradise
It was quiet and peaceful. Most of the folks who worked there were super welcoming! Steve gave us some great ideas on activities we could do during our stay and was also very friendly. JJ and Louis as well. There was one couple that worked there made us a little uncomfortable; as if we were not welcome (not saying hello and monopolizing the pool often where we felt that we should not go to the pool when they were there). We didn’t know the dynamic so we just kept our distance and went about our day. The house is so cozy and was spotless! The pool and tiki hut was so nice! We didn’t have to leave the property to have fun which kept us safe and worry free. The only suggestion I would make is to empty the trash and recycling around the property more. But In all, my husband and I had a very relaxing time which we really needed. I 100% recommend! Thank you to all!

Camping getaway
Nice for a camping trip with all the amenities of home! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Evrything you would need is included. Just make sure you bring food as not many places deliver there. Nice charcoal grill for cooking out and full kitchen with supplies inside. Perfect getaway from evrrything. Plenty of movies to watch on a rainy day.

Restful stay
Beautiful location and friendly, easy check in. The cabin was amazing and the grounds beautiful. Small issue with some of the kitchen appliances being a bit dirty, but we understand the reason...the cleaning crew was in quarantine. Other than that, just what we wanted. Peaceful, comfortable, clean bathroom and bedroom. We especially loved Monty the dog. The pool was a nice place to hang out and rest. Will definitely return.
